It's weird seing him now so thoughtful and wellspoken, young people won't ever understand what a monster of a goalkeeper, what a beast that man was!
His jersey was size XXXL, but despite him being massive he was lightning quick on the line! Opponent strikers feared when big Pete charged out of his goal to grab a cross, no goalkeeper has ever come close to being as intimidating as Schmeichel was i the 90's. The GOAT in my book!

There was no such thing as a definite goal chance with Schmeichel, I mean it got to a stage where you'd be shocked or something bizarre just happened if he was beaten. Haven't really experienced it since he left. Dude owned that box. "PETER…." . Great times to be a football fan.
The 2 players I wish where involved in the manutd football hierarchy are peter and van der sar. Their demeanor, the way the understand the game, the kindness and warmth they give off is something any serious club would have worked hard to bring inhouse.

What's going on with her voice, she's talking with 3 different accents…. I thought she was English? Peter Schmeichel was one of the reasons we lost the title in 96 we absolutely battered Man United at home & kept peppering their goal but he literally saved everything. Arguably the greatest goal keeper of all time. Watch him at Euro 92 when against the odds Denmark remarkably won the tournament. He was incredible!
He is reason I started watching football, best ever goalkeeper for me.
In old enough to see him win everything at United. Then he moved to City and still won that one derby. Edwin Van Der Saar is my keeper

No one can understand if they haven't experienced it how legendary his presence was with both Manchester and Denmark. His decision to leave was very stupid.
