Suarez wasn't a DP last year. He won't be close to a DP this year. DSC isn't a DP either. Not even close. Rumors had Minnesota offering a non-DP deal and he took less money with Miami.
It was always Espn for us to watch n hear about football from the pundits, but now coming to know so many of ull thru MLS. Thanks to Messi
Chicago even makes sense with Lewy – maybe with the exception that it is not the warmest spot around the year. But Lewandowski + wife have often met with Schweinsteiger + ex wife some years ago as both have houses on Mallorca. And I know that Basti and his wife really enjoyed there time in Chicago. And I think that Lewy does not like to play the second fiddle – and playing for Inter Miami would for sure mean that. Nobody is bigger than Messi.
And it even makes sense for a developing league to have older and experienced players – if they do not just want to be "stars" but if they are the ones that are in helping younger players develop.
I’m kind of disappointed by it but wish him the best. At some point, the only way we can improve at any particular skill is by challenging ourselves. In Dayne’s case, I think that’s to compete with better opponents and teammates for the starting job. Staying in MLS was the safe choice and you could almost argue he’ll be challenged even less than he was last year now that he won’t face Messi and the other attackers Miami has.
One of our Canadian boys going down to Inter Miami makes me feel dirty. But I'm glad it's TFC that Dayne is close to signing at cause that's where I want Max to go.

I thought he might have gone somewhere like Belgium, Holland or Portugal where he's going to play regulary, get a chance to play in Champions League/Europa League/Conference League and if he shows any signs of improvement year on year is pretty much guarenteed a move to England, Spain, Italy or Germany but who can blame him for wanting to play with Messi?
