Crazy thing is if you watched Neuer during club world cup, preseason and the start of the Bundesliga he literally elevated his game from last season.
I would say he is close to what he use to be at his peak 10 years ago.
I played with manu.. I was with him in school… He was a small guy but always good with the feet.. When we played a 6 vs 6 he was everytime a field player.. He learnd some stuff from the streets also… All together manu could play in the field in a good team as a central midfielder…
Many people always say that Casillas or Buffon is the GOAT, but I always say that Neuer is the GOAT. Manuel has revolutionized goalkeeping; there’s no doubt about it. There are many good ones, but none of them compare to Manuel.
