I'm still confident. Recruitment team are in a net positive with their dealings in recent years and I trust them. I agree we are likely to get those game changing signings letter on in the window in the form of loans. Could end up with a blinder!
Brighton always want top dollar for their players, that's their model. There is no point in over paying for a player that we just won't get the money back on. I trust the recruitment team to make the right decisions. We doubted them, myself included, pre-season but they came up with the goods. Lets see what happens in the rest of the window.
I still think Burgzorg will prove everybody wrong. I like him. He has a good work ethic and is sometimes, very skillful. He's lacking confidence and a harder edge at the moment, but I'm sure Kim will work on him and he'll end up being a prolific player for us. Conway, on the other hand, is more concerning to me. I don't think he has ANY potential. He doesn't even get picked to play for the Scotland national team? Waste of space.
Ive seen Sarmiento play live and the guy is amazing…I think we're dropping a clanger here but I dont know the facts….its a shame but we must move on ….Watch him when we play the brummies and you'll see what I meant by amazing
We have been playing understrength and if we get some back, like Mcgree, Brittain, Jones etc. I do see us starting to get better. I think we are playing way above what everybody expected this season and even better since Kim Hellberg, Adie and crew joined.
