      He refused to play in the FA Cup game last weekend. Its never a good idea to refuse to play. My guess is he wont play for Norwich again. Rumour is he thinks he has a better chance of being at the World Cup if he plays for Toronto. If you two blokes could explain that last bit to me id be eternally grateful. Stinks of an agent making a few quid.

      I'm a Norwich fan and the club don't want to sell him. The owner of the Brewers Mark Attanasio has promised to back the club with a lot of money so they can afford to keep him to help improve the team's position. He is a great player that has semi-frequent injuries that keep him out of the team for chunks of the season but almost every championship fan considers him the best striker in the league. This season has been an off year for him but also for the whole squad. Sargent suffers most because the team aren't creating much attacking chances although that could change with January reinforcements to provide creativity. Sargent actually rejected a 20 million pound move to Wolfsburg in the summer already so he believed in the Norwich project at the start of the season and this whole thing seems out of character for him. The coach of Norwich Clement has said that they won't sell during this window but since the MLS transfer window is longer it doesn't rule out a transfer if performances for Norwich don't improve. If he were to move to the MLS he would get a guaranteed 20 goals as he has evolved into a complete striker the past two seasons.
