The thing is i am gonna be real about balde situation . Yes he is young , yes he got the potential . but lets be real balde didnt improve since 2022 . Rn araujo wouldnt even give u a solid 30 m . and there are so many examples such us ansu fati . Personally i will give balde another season max to see if he can get his form back , if not then move on and sell him while he still got some value

Balde hasn’t proven much at Barcelona yet. Most of what he offers is speed, youth, and decent ball control, but he still lacks many fundamentals. His football IQ, body positioning, and crossing all need significant improvement.
As some people have pointed out, I would take Cancelo a hundred times over him. At least Cancelo consistently provides attacking contributions. With Balde, you rarely get that level of offensive impact.

We’ve been going on about his potential for how many years now? 4-5? but the truth is he’s essentially the same player he has been since he came on the first team. He’s all pace(which has regressed), can’t pass, can’t cross to save his life, can barely defend, can barely dribble, rarely ever beats his man (always inverts and passes). Please tell me one good thing he does or especially what he’s gotten better at? He’s a mid player at best, we have to cash in on this “potential” before people realize he is what he is, an average player at best. He’s not barca starter material if we really want to compete. I'm good with moving Balde on. Balde is a level below the FB we need. Xavi Espart on the other hand is what Balde should've been talent wise. When I say Xavi Espart I'm not on recency bias I follow the top La Masia talents. I been following this golden gen 2007 group Lamine Cubarsi Bernal Xavi Espart etc since they were 10 yrs old. Balde has elite pace and ball carrying ability but not much else. He never does anything dangerous in the final third. He can't cross he can't shoot he can't long pass. You can't rely on him for big games he's always injured. It's been 5 seasons with the first team he hasn't progressed. Nothing about Balde to me screams UCL title contention. Our Quality in back 4 is evidently poor somebody has gotta go to improve it.
