  1. That handball on glad was 100% not a handball. If you know anything by about biomechanics, it’s natural. Then you watch it in real time and see that glad had zero opportunity to react given the proximity. Not that it matters, but you can see that ball was most going up and over everyone anyway.

  2. A player going down easy, according to precedent, DOESNT impact the decision of penalty or not for VAR as long as there is reasonablely sufficient contact.
    100% a penalty for Vancouver

  3. Would have to diagree with your Sabbi take. Watching the slowmo replay it is clear that Sabbi gives up dribbling the ball and shifts his line of approach to deliberately run into the defender. Good no call.

  4. Just like the ball has to completely EXIT the box… it has to completley ENTER the box… I dont believe it ever did…. St. Claire had exited and made contact with the ball BEFORE it could COMPLETELY ENTER the box

  5. As an RSL fan, I was more shocked that Glad's handball did not get overturned than the Gozo pk. If I'm the ref (and I am not, I know that), the handball gets called. Not because I believe that it was necessarily handling of the ball, but because in 9 of 10 other games, this would be called as a pk. The game to game consistency of the calls in the league ask for this to be called, and I would not be mad or feel like I got hard done by this call as a fan. The Gozo foul felt like a "whatever the call on the field is will stand" because to say that it was "clear and obvious" doesn't feel so cut and dried to me.

  6. SDFC game vs RSL game handball: I would call pen because the handball prevents bombino from crossing the ball into box and potentially ending with a goal for SDFC, I think it is pen

  7. here we go again. st. clairs blunder was and shouldve been the same as the one from earlier this year. you can CLEARLY see his whole body is in front of the line no difference, to me, from the other keepers mistake. switching up your desicion from week to week makes me wanna watch this less and less..

  8. Definitely agree with most of these. San Diego definitely deserved a red card there. And that would have changed the whole game a lot more than anything else that happened on later. However I'm pretty sure that should have been called a handball on Justin glad. I get how the traffic is saying it was his natural movement but if it was the other way around I'd be extremely frustrated. San Diego is right to be frustrated about that one.

  9. Favoritism is insane in this league!!

Besides the San Diego call he gave Miami the benefit of the doubt and Vancouver!

If a team spends money than you favorite it.

  10. You are the worst league in the World I swear to god you are fixing matches , this is really shame for football world! Pathetic how Messi decided to end his career

  11. To me, the referee for the match Inter Miami vs NYC is the best referee in MLS since 2023. He is strict, fair, precise. No favoritism. Blowing the whistle at the end of the exact amount extra time.
For the handball, according what I see, it is no penalty.
    Great job, referee.

  12. IFAB's Practical Guidance for Match Officials state "The relevant point is where exactly the goalkeeper’s hand is in contact with the ball. If that contact is outside the penalty area, it is a direct free kick offence (even if the ball is not entirely outside the penalty area). The position of the goalkeeper’s feet is irrelevant." I think its clear that St. Claire contacts the ball with at least one hand outside of the penalty area and therefore should have been sent off for DOGSO.

  13. I love this videos but I strongly believe your interpretation of the handball offence is wrong. IFAB Q&A has stated that a goalkeeper is penalised for handling outside the penalty area if ANY PART OF THEIR HAND is touching the ball outside the penalty area; the whole ball DOES NOT need to be over the line. The only part that matters is where DSC’s hand is making contact with the ball.

  14. These videos prove every time why MLS needs to enact Semi-automated offside technology. No debates about bad camera angles, just hard data.

  15. "WHERE IS SEGURA'S LEG SUPPOSED TO GO??" HAHHAHAHAHAHA so when it happened to Biro and the dude literally fell down in front of him you said that intent didn't matter, now it does. This series has zero credibility

  16. Camera angles were horrible at that game . NY needs to concentrate in better camera angles (baseball field to play a professional soccer game does not work)

  17. Okay. You say the ball has to be completely over the line to have exited the penalty area.
So I have a question, when is the ball considered in the penalty area? Does the same rule apply? The whole ball has to has to have crossed the line to be completely considered inside?
