  1. Bring Otto Addo back. No one else can do the job than himself. It doesn’t make sense to replace a new coach in less than 4 months for the World Cup 🏆.

  2. I agree with you. Harve Rainard or Ragrsgoui can do the job. Kwesi Appiah has lost the dressing room twice, it would be the biggest mistake appointing him. Desmond Offei is no for me. He is too young and inexperience to handle the big egos in the team. If we accuse Addo of not having enough experience why Desmond?

  3. we cannot be recycling coaches. In this Okraaku administration we have been recycling coaches for the most part. Kwesi Appiah cannot come back a third time. We have to move forward. Nobody should tolerate any idea of Kwasi coming back to coach the Black Stars. He may be slightly better tactically than Otto Addo but he does not have the personality to coach a team like Ghana

  4. Interesting analysis. Since you are saying Ghana is not expected to impress in the WC, I'd rather we give money to our fellow Ghanaian coach than a foreign.

  5. Btw if Ghana must go after a Frenchman, why not Patrick Veira a far better coach than Renard? With the EPL obsession, surely he makes more sense right?

  6. I live in Europe, and I walked past a Ghanaian guy earlier in the street the GFA should hire him he's better than Otto Addo and Kwesi Appiah combined 😆

  7. Ghana has never had a non-Ghanaian African as a manager before, let alone a North African whose culture differs greatly from us in West Africa, with the short adaptation time could struggle, but Herve knows the culture, got the best out Jordan when was at Sochaux can work with someone like Selles Tetteh in his technical team

  8. I've never seen a boxer who loses a fight and blames it on his coach or a swimmer who says his coach made him lose. It's always footballers😅

  9. The GFA is one of the most corrupt institutions in Ghana. Otto Addo was appointed not because he was capable but because the criminals at the FA can influence him to select players they will get money from.

  10. Renard is suited for African teams than European or other continents. He will get this team working. He transformed Zambia into a formidable force when no one knew them

  11. Why is that GFA is so cheap minded when it comes to getting a good coach? They always think about their own pockets. Kofi Adams and his ministry instead of thinking getting quality good coach for the Black Stars they rather wasted money to spend huge money to fly supporters to watch friendly games and World Cup. Ghana is a joke. Corruption minded leaders. Sad

  12. Great update once again Mr Selasi.

Is there anybody watching the reverse fixture of Bafana and Panama? Bafana is losing 1-2 to Panama in South Africa. More reason why we need a proper coach.

  13. Please refrain from reacting to something that is not confirmed. Where did you hear that he was a front runner? Until it is officially stated that Kwesi Appiah is the front runner then you can be disappointed or disagree. Please don't create rumours or speculations until information is confirmed. Otherwise we are getting anxious about candidates for no reason.

  14. Well Saudi Arabia lost this night's game. So technically we wont get Raguagri. But i think Ghana has more quality than Saudi Arabia hence Renard can do better with us than Otto did. Plus he know our style of play. Truth be told and as you rightly said Renard has not been the coach we know him to be. If we dont get Wahlid then at least Renard if not then we must go for someone different entirely. Not the other names mentioned. Especially not Kwesi Appiah.

  15. Kwasi Appiah is as good or bad as Otto Addo. Appiah is also static when it comes to choosing formation. All attacking, all defending is his system. He hasn't got a specific system he dwells on. He is ancient. He can't take firm decisions as well.

  16. I agree with the Jordan Ayew segment. He was immense for us in qualifying against other African teams but the actual tournament is a different story. Apart from his two set piece assists against Korea, he was more or less a liability on the field in all the games in 2022.

  17. our team that performed well in the past had solid midfielders in Essien,Muntari ,Appiah, Annan etc. Our current team cannot boast of a compact midfield. Until we fix our midfield issue we cannot perform well at the highest level even with the best coach on the continent…Essien , Muntari and Appiah played together from youth level to the national team. That's how the telipathy was built. So attention should be focused on the youth teams to give us a solid team in future…Changing Coaches is not the solution. Rather changing the administration of the football federation is the solution.

  18. Kwasi Appiah is a defensive oriented coach. He doesn't want to score more goals and he doesn't want to concede more goals. That has been his tactical play. Maybe it's because he was a defender when playing active football. For me Kwasi Appiah is not right for the black stars job..

  19. This was a poor decision by the Ghana football association. The timing is not right. I believe Ghanaian are finding it difficult to accept that most of these players for Ghana are not that good. 2010 and 2020 players were way better. Feel sad for Otto Addo. I am still cheering for Black Stars but not too confident they will qualify to the next round from their group.

  20. so we should hire the coach that was racist to the congolose striker and towards senegal 2 months ago well done gfa the land of nkrumah i guess thats great pan africanism

  21. ghana is not morocco
he and his country people did something

    internationally, he is not proven
his tenure with morocco was more of a patriotic effort
i believe he also coached in their language
    skills doesnt seem transferable

  22. Since Senagal 1992 you guys are still building your Black Stars. Hmmmm….LIFE IS INDEED A RAT RACE. ANOTHER STORM IN A TEA CUP.
THIS GENERATION IS INDEED A DOPAMINE GENERATION……After 2026….they will start taking about 2030…..after that 2034………..what a rat race.
    Unlimited appetite….😂😂😂😂😂

  23. Thank you for your objective views. Please, let's not bring Kwesi Appiah, or Renae. Even the Moroccan coach will not be good because if Ghana meets Morocco at the Afcon, it will be an uncomfortable for him.
