  1. hawks make the playoffs time and time and again but you never get to see them use the opportunity to build a solid team around trae to prepare for this moment, this was your last year earning a playoff spot next year there is gonna be a new team right there if you playing games this off season, i really dont see the game plan for the hawks, its probably the only team i never understand. trae, clint, boggy and collins are the only solid pieces you have murray is good but i still dont see him fit in the system considering you have trae, its like having two of the same players, and also fix your system yall dont flow at all. look at the team you are playing against, thats flow!

  2. This is the greatest proof of DOMINANCE right there. Not because of the gap on scoreboard, but because of how C's won. There wasn't too much strategy, just pure demonstration of 1 on 1 superiority. At the end, they were obsiously slowing down because they knew the game was done. Atlanta players must have realised it too : it's already OVER !

  3. Hawks Clint capella was awful, no effort to rebound block defend he did nothing he was terrible in the first quarter and basically lost the game for the hawks

  4. Let me preface my post with this: I love Trae Young. He’s super talented offensively and one of the most exciting players to watch in the league….. NOW,

The stats in this game say this:

    – He’s ATL’s #1 option and went 5-18/1-5 from 3.
    – ATL had 11 turnovers, he had 5 of them (Murray played the same minutes)
    – Derrick White had 24 pts and shot the most ft’s (6-7) for Boston… do what you’d like with this

    The eye test says this:

    – Obviously, Trae is targeted for switches A LOT but unlike CP3 or Kyrie, Steph, he doesn’t even show a willingness to compete on that end. Doesn’t fight over screens, no active hands, gets backed down too easy. I understand his “superstar mentality” in the regular season but this is playoff time
    – Bogy came alive in the 2nd half. When Murray came in, he was the odd man out of the starting 5. I’m sure he feels he should be starting and once Trae went to the bench he caught his rhythm.
    – The ATL 2nd half comeback wasn’t a fluke. They’re best lineup spurred that run and they looked like they might be able to compete and not get swept… Trae was not apart of the that lineup.

Overall, I think the writing is one the wall here. Trae is super exciting and talented but it’s obvious his style is not conducive to winning basketball. I see him being a exciting stat-monster on a perennial lottery team or ending up in a JJ Berea-type role on a team that’s contending. I’m very interested to see how ATL plays this
