Please do a Finnish Christmas meal! There's tons of options to choose from and they're quite easy to find online, even in English or then using Google Translate.
My favourite ones are rosolli, and gravlax (grave salmon) on some fresh rye bread with real butter and onions + dill. Most of the other stuff is pretty disgusting in my opinion, but this Canadian one didn't seem that great, either (no offence to my Canadian brothers and sisters ❤️🇨🇦❤️).
Edit: The thing most people eat is slow roasted ham (the longer the roast, the better, might be tricky to not make it too dry, though) with mustard on top!
