Should the Detroit Lions draft Devon Witherspoon? Let us know in the comments below!
Love these quick hits Scott. It’s like talking to your well informed buddy at the bar.
Great work Scott! Now I'm really interested to see if he does the agility drills at the combine.
The CB position is something the Lions definitely have to improve on. But if there are question marks with Witherspoon then that may be concerning
Ok…. why even think about a player at 6, when you can get him at 18? Because you really don't know where he will go in the draft.
He only allowed 1 yard last year in press coverage! You seemed to leave out this fact. He's feisty and loves to tackle and I believe he is a Dan Campbell kind of guy.
Really good breakdown of a player and his attributes and how his size can hurt him where people are talking about him going and the draft well done man I enjoyed this thank you for the info
Another excellent analysis – if you are seeing these things in Witherspoon, I'm sure the Lion scouts are seeing the same thing and pick 6 is probably too high. Could be wrong but don't see him going to the Lions…
Scott, love the information you share. You’re a very smart guy and you’re getting much more comfortable with the platform. Keep up the good work, we are seeing vast improvement in your presentation, it’s fun, and well worth the wait. Keep doing what you’re doing, you are “shooting up the draft boards”.
Ideally, Trade out of 6 to 9 with Carolina or a team wanting a QB between 7-10 pick up another draft asset and still get Witherspoon if Holmes values him, or any other corner like Gonzalez or Porter Jr..But, If a deal for Ramsey is somehow made, corner no longer would be a priority, and Holmes will have a ton of options to improve either side of the ball available to him,
I'm not taking a corner at 6 only based on the fact there are so many. I think you could get a starter in the second maybe even third. Get a vet corner and lb those 2 positions seam to be the ones that take the most time develop. If you had to take a dB at 6 I'd take branch.
Great video! I like Devon Witherspoon, but his size is a concern. I think pick six is a little rich for a CB too.
Taking a CB at 6 and saying he needs safety help? That doesn’t sound good.
