Taubert 「Memories」 by Ryan Taubert 「Xibalba」 by Ryan Taubert 「Futures」 by Roary 「Full Murmur」 by Alicia Enstrom 「In the Shattering of Things」 by Hammock 「Steady Now」 Cubby 「Confucius」 Kyle McEvoy 「Weep No More」 by

So relevant, so important, and so inspiring.
This film brought me to tears. I had no idea how much I needed to see this. The world needs to see this
Amazing film— I hope everyone in the ski industry watches it. As someone who grew up in Colorado, this gave me a new perspective on the area I call home. I learned a lot and am inspired to keep to learning more.
This is the best thing I have ever seen. As a person who skis and is of native descent (who also had their heritage stripped from them by white colonialism), this film touched me, brought me pain and also joy. Thank you so much. I needed this.
Awesome film and such a great perspective to share. lots to ruminate and grow on. Great work Connor and Crew.
Beautiful film, thank you everyone who made this film a reality.
v. thought-provoking. How do we create more reciprocity among the outdoor recreation community? and give the land back to native tribes?
Congrats on making such an amazing film! It’s time we all take care of this planet and become stewards of the land. Love this Connor, well done!
What an incredible project…So well done and meaningful.
Nizhoni hei. ❤
Anyone know the song that plays around 13:30? That music got me so hype and it’d be cool to support the artist!
Nice music. An Illustrated Mess!!!
Great film! TYSM!
Thank You! What a great opportunity to share indigenous perspective and appreciation for the land we live on and visit.
Well done, may the Lord God Almighty be with you all!
Beautiful film. Cheers from Bulgaria #mountainpeopleeverywhereunite
Really cool to see my "backyard"
This morning my son asked the important question, “It is so annoying when people say they ‘bagged’ a peak. Why do some people feel they have to ‘conquer’ the land?” I responded with encouraging him to research indigenous perspectives on this, assuring him they are similar to his. This is how we found Spirit Peaks!
We are native cousins living on Tongva land. We practice reciprocity, relating and belonging. Being, wherever we walk, hike, swim and sleep.
Thank you Conor for this gift! Brought us both tears and innerstanding of new connections. 🙏🏽🌼
If this was framed in regards to another people group it would be called racist. Why can others want to preserve their culture, history, people, and be proud of it, but one group cant?
I nearly fell off my chair when Connor Ryan talks about needing to be in reciprocity with the land and it haunting him and the energy of those people who've spent so much time in that place. Very powerful.
Fan. Tastic.
Thank you for this film. It is beautiful, powerful, and necessary. It's hard to put into words it's vast value. When the land lost its' people it lost its' protection. Our environment needs that relational connection. This perspective helps us understand one of the many cultural aspects of indigenous life that has traditionally be silenced in the loss of its people living on the land as they did for thousands of years. As stewards of the land they lived with the land, protecting it for so much longer because of this relational perspective- inclusive of reciprocity. I hope we can change back to this understanding before it's too late.
We need to go back to the roots of our purpose and fix the mistakes. I'm so inspired by this movie.
Respect!
Show love by doing the little things.
Extremely humbling to watch. 🙏🏼
Great soundtrack. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful film! I wonder if being from the plains makes Connor appreciate the mountains even more.
This is beautiful. Sad, tragic, inspiring, and necessary to experience. It will help shape how I think of nature and our connection and responsibility towards it. Thank you for bringing this to us. Now we know you Connor. Respect and gratitude.
These places give us life, indeed
Amazing and inspiring.
Phantastic cinematic work and very, very touching content. I never before watched a film that connects skiing with spirituality. It brought a part of the wisdom and spirit of Connor Ryans ancestors to my little home here in Bavaria/Germany.
Best ski film to date, the depth of it was definitely beyond words. Truly art.
I am proud to see my nephew with you ( Bird Ryder southern Ute ) I didn’t think he knew how to ski,lol
This was such an important story…and beautifully told! Really really cool!
We are hoping to do a showing of this for our town in northern Canada. Would this be okay? Is there a fee for showing it? Please let us know 🙂
