I know the stats aren't yours Stel, but they omit a crucially important one and that is average distance of passes, which would make the pass completion % meaningful. I could get 92% success rate if the average distance of pass is 3 yards. We know a lot of players are happy to get rid of the ball with a short pass, even if it puts a team mate under pressure.
Thanks for the update Stel, much appreciated. I guess Dawson will go and I’m very sad because I’d love him to stay until he retires. Imagine though commuting back to Manchester thousands of times, he did it from Watford too, what dedication. He’s one of a dying breed. Diabetic too and played with injury all last season and with a broken nose. We will miss him.
I thought Dawson was as much of a calamity as he was a good player and not too bothered he is off, actually if he didn't make so many mistakes we could have been in the top four. Respect to him for doing the job he did though.
