CP should never play for the USMNT again. He can do far, far more for the sport in the USA by excelling for Chelsea. In my opinion, CONCACAF has never protected its most skilled players on any of the teams. CP wears a target on his back, and there are many that will intentionally try to end his career, just to gain 3 points in qualifying.
