I don't think the 60 mil supposed budget isn't too terrible actually. Realistically if we make 15-20 mil off of player sales, we can sign a few quality free agents such as Lingard, Kamara, Tarkowski, Johnstone. Or you can possibly get a couple decent cut price deals on relegated sides. But if we sign 3-4 good free agents we can use that 80 mil (with sales) on 2 marquee signings. I think that is a sensible budget IF we make good free agent signings. Also we can keep in mind that a slightly lower budget leaves the possibility to spend a nice 30-50 mil if we need to in January.
Trips and Wilson will both want to play but Trippier has to play this season need his presence to show future signings what we are capable of going into next season. According to todays news we have already spent our transfer budget with a bid for Nunez. So that shoots down all the so called paper predictions.
Only diff with us is we dont have divers in midfield. 2-1 the Toon, hopefully we are 2-0 up going into injufy time and they get a consolation goal with the last kick of the game. Sick of the squeakers.
We need to build on partnerships like Rafa did for the Spanish connectio0n Rondon Perez over 20 goals between if miggy had caught on it could have been so much more
If that had been Joelinton on that last second header he would have put it over the bar. Midfield he is a worker but near goal and under pressure he hasn't a clue. Why did he cost so much?
