For me Gavi was the best player today – the workhorse. What should have been done by Busquets, was rather done by Gavi.

with xavi system i didn't see any tiki taka build up play that lead to goal anymore, more crossing, and long balls, winger is the most crucial part of this system that's why we didn't see the creativeness of our midfielder but a midfielder who keep pressuring the opponent like Gavi more dominant. It was a brilliance performance and good result but imo it feels like this new Barca is missing something, especially in terms of creativeness in the midfield

The only let down from the game was Xavi's substitution. If this season is indeed Busquest's last, no way he should be playing full match 3-0 up against any team. This is the perfect chance to rotate him out gradually and reduce our dependency on him.

Pedri was absolutely awful throughout. 7 is too high for him; max 6. He literally ghosted the whole game. 0 tackles, 0 defensive work, 0 challenges, 0 shots… I only remember 2 good passes that's it. The rest was full of back and side robotic passes.
Busquets was great. People are too hateful against him saying he can't play in the UCL. For sure he can!
Garcia’s passing was horrendous yesterda,he was lobbing the ball and most of the time never reached the intended player, he wasnt bad but he wasnt that excellent i feel like a 7 for him would be better

Dembele was involved in two goals and also was the leader who managed to bring calmness in our play, his run with the ball and his pass to lewandoski was the game changer,hence i can forgive him for being selfish later we had already won,though he needs to work hard on his finishing skill but he is our protagonist at the moment
Xavi hasnt quite managed to make the team gel at the moment and i think De jong is key in us controlling games, De jong must be given ample consistent time in that CDM role so that he develops and grows into it,if alba is benched for his poor performance he showed in the 1st game surely Busquets deserves to be benched after this one, and i do not believe that he cannot be replaced people who are tried in that position are not given consistent time to develop and grow in to that role,
Lewandowski 7? What game were u watching? Lewandowski easily a 9 or at least an 8. The team did not play for Lewandowski like they did with Messi yet his impact was immense. Yes Gavi had a good game but for me he isn’t yet that x-factor in defense. Barca is still lacking a leader in defence, someone who can calm down and control the game like Xavi did. Lewandowski”s goal was world class and also, if not for his chip, Raphina wouldn’t have gotten that goal. Take Lewandowski out and the game could have finished in a draw. Take Gavi out we would still have won that game.
