Brazil are favourites to win the WC imo., which will allow Alisson to shine – given that he gets given game time over Ederson.
Also, regardless of their peformance in the league, I do still fancy Liverpool doing well this Champions League – and if Liverpool do win, it won't be due to a uniquely good peformance from Salah (since goal contributions have so far been spread out between Firmino, Nunez and Salah this season). This factor will also give him extra brownie points if he does keep up with these wordly peformances.
And as long as Liverpool shuffle up a few places with a few clean sheets here and there, I do strongly believe that Alisson will be the DESERVED 2nd ever GK to win a Ballon D'or.
It is a bit of a reach, but I do believe that he has the quality.
