Mousse Cisse, Cam Thomas, Mwani Williams, Eric Gaines, & Jalen Cook have a shot to be even better than Naz, Emmitt Williams, Smart, & Days by a long shot. Y’all didn’t even mention Mwani and Gaines who are top 100 recruits in some circles. Then you have the two transfers in LeBlanc & O’Neal. We got another big in Ezewiro coming as well. We had no size last year and would have some serious size next year. Days and Manning will be back I would think. I wish Emmitt Williams would of came back to possibly play the 3 with his defense, athleticism, & experience. I might not even want Smart to come back with Gaines & Cook at point guard, but his experience would be nice. Hopefully Watford comes back cause he will be the key if we want to go for a title. Maybe Naz Reid going undrafted helps his decision to come back. Even without him they would still be legit with Days at the 4.
That is a depth chart! Not sure who starts at the 3. Mwani is a Taylor type of super athlete, but LeBlanc & Manning have more experience for what looks like a super young starting 5. Having an all freshman backcourt won’t be ideal, but Kentucky does it all the time. It would probably be good to have Smart come back though to run the point with Gaines & Edwards fighting for the backup spot. Both of them should get playing time even if Smart comes back. It will likely be the best & deepest team since the Shaq days.
