amazing tempo and the ability/feel to know what was not in sync.may I have that swing as well:}
Hook me up, Shawn. 😍
Looking forward to seeing Savannah on the tour….great teacher you have there Savvy!!!!
Well Savannah looks a lot better in her Golf Uniform than you😂👍 Sorry Shawn!
Bonjour shawn. J'ai un problème de taille, je touche très bien mes fers et je suis précis un vrai bonheur, mais avec le driver j arrose énormément, aucune précision. Auriez vous une idée ?
The distance and dispersion has dramatically improved over the last 6 months ….
Very impressive indeed…..
Keep it up
Amazing stuff Shawn and Savannah!
Wow, that grip is FRICKIN' strong! Is that the grip you teach Shawn?
Great turn!
Hey Shawn is there a video discussing the setup she’s using? The handle looks preset for impact position. Am I correct in what I’m seeing?
Great video Shawn but Savy is the actor !!! She doesn't need instructions…natural talent ! Seems to be a gift from…. Mam or Dad ??? A+
her grip is so strong…I have a similar grip and was told to move my hand more on top of the club…It's been a struggle as I'm fairly consistent with my old grip. May have to go with my natural "feel".
WiG instructor in ohio…. and here i was trying to figure out how i was going to get the wife to let me siesta @ richmond hills or RC (8-12 hr drive)…. is there alot involved in becoming a WiG instructor? I've got lessons from a local instructor and he looked at me like i was crazy; felt more lost after the lesson than ever
Thought I had a strong grip😮
Great video. Really like the idea of developing a natural swing. Do you have any data on how much dynamic loft was being delivered at impact with the 8 & 6 iron respectively.
This was great.
Very nice, repetitive and consistent. Would like to see her squat just a little as she nears the top of her swing, just prior to change of direction. Right now she is extremely level, perhaps a little too level. It doesn't have to be a big squat movement, but a little would go along way, but only if in practice the consistency is maintainable, otherwise she could revert back to staying level. In summary, I think she would be a little more powerful introducing a small amount of squat.
Hi Shawn, great stuff! Four years ago I couldn’t even hit a driver. I didn’t even carry one in my bag I was so bad. I would always hit a long iron off the tee. I was very over the top, weak grip, bad stance and alignment, out of sync, and non-target oriented. I had no intermediate point or “specific enough” target. I defaulted badly to the ball and I could only hit a driver far left with a severe slice in to the woods. I had a nice workable fade with my irons but lacked consistency. I decided I was either going to give up golf altogether or learn the proper way. Boy am I ever thankful I found you! There is so much misinformation to sort through out there. I am proud to say Driver is really my confidence club now. So much so I was able to even develop a good technique to hit it flush right off the fairway or even out of the rough if it’s sitting up! I no longer find it necessary to really carry a 3 wood. Just a 3 or 4 hybrid. Rarely do I even need to hit a long iron anymore it seems like. I’m not a long bomber by any means but I find the fairway now most of the time and now my misses are much smaller and if I miss it is to the right side of the fairway and still playable! I have much more command of the ball now. I can work a fade, draw or even a big old slice on command now if I want to all thanks to you and some things I adopted from Moe Norman’s techniques. I know you are a fan of his also. I broke 80 for the first time in my life last summer (79) and now I can’t get enough golf. A complete transformation mentally and every other part of my golf swing from the ground up from where I was 4 yrs ago. I couldn’t have accomplished this without all the things that I learned from your videos to correct all my swing thoughts and swing flaws! Now I swing driver with reckless abandon and full confidence. Thanks a million, Golf is incredibly enjoyable for me now, so glad I found your videos and got to work when I did. For all you folks out there feeling at the end of your rope with the game of golf, if you want it bad enough you CAN rebuild your game from the ground up rather quickly and Shawn can really help you learn how to do it right! My advice is to practice a lot, I play once a week all winter as well on a launch monitor to maintain my feel and work on things from Shawn’s videos in the off season. After 1 yr I was starting to see significant progress with ball striking consistency. After year 2 I started dropping strokes off my score in big chunks. After year 3 yrs I was grooving my move and broke 80 for the first time. Don’t forget to learn how to Putt!!! My only goal when I started out was to consistently shoot in the 80’s. Mission accomplished with a huge thanks to Shawn Clement and Wisdom in Golf.
Grip is to strong
Hi Shawn, Any of your other videos discuss preventing the trail heel and hip firing in downswing?
Shawn,
Just wanted to thank you personally for what you do. You helped me realize that I already know how to play golf simply because I am a physical being interacting with constant physical forces in a physical world.
It is such a relief to step up to a ball and not think using any words, just pictures and the associated feelings necessary to make that picture a reality. Not only that, but those feelings are things I've already mastered just by being human. Realizing that i am a gravity master already is the most freeing feeling ever. Golf is relaxing again.
Thank you so much. You've made an impact on my life in a very positive way. You rock.
I feel the DiFF!
she could stand to use some radial deviation to help keep that hook under control. that diving right bllflight wont stop on any greens on the course.
Cushdy Shawn me old cuzin
Well done both of you x
"pay some dividends" before getting into stocks had no idea what that meant!
167! Way to go kid!
How heavy is the kettle bell?
Have you done the driver with Savanna?
That setup at address is classic Clement. A recipe for success from the start. 😎👍
She's pretty cute
She was pulling the ball a little at first, what would cause that to happen? Club face staying square to the club path?
Hi Shawn ,,,, i wanted to ask it looks like alot of forward shaft lean and like her grip at address is just by her leading knee ……… and also alot of spine tilt behind the ball but maybe it makes everything an optical illusion idk ……. but does this allow for more freedom in the swing . it looks like it would promote a good weight shift at impact also
Excellent video. What weight is the kettle bell?
Wow, um that grip 🥴. Like I know I have a strong left hand (right handed player) but as strong as I see here. Definitely can see all 4 knuckles. Make me think that she would hit some rather impressive duck hooks!?
Double thumb up on this one. One For your work and the other on the work you are doing with your princess!!!!
This proves your methods work ! I’m male, 5’10”, 200 lbs, and I can’t get 150 with my 7, let alone an 8. I definitely have the wrong timing and focus. You have the right approach Shawn!! I’ll keep watching and learning from you both. Ty!!
Great tilt angle. A definite Shawn student.
What if she didn't move her hands forward like she does? She does that with the first club she's hitting.
Seems like she's always taking loft off the club prior to backswing – no?
Now I really feel bad about my game
Pretty girl.
Nice swing… with such a strong lead hand grip I would be fighting the hooks
Is this young lady hot or what? Gorgeous
Must say I followed Shawn’s advice 6 years ago made sense to me as I played all racquet sports with a whip, Consistently hit me carried my 3 iron over 220 meters
Although all of Shawn’s concepts make sense to me I feel I would have to sacrifice my whole season to try to get it down. It would be to hard to work on it on the range and resort back to my usual swing each week in my men’s league. I feel this is something I’d have to do in my recreation shed all winter to hopefully get it down by spring.
This grip and address massively pulls missed shots…. you need to put extra effort keeping the face square through the ball.
