Last time I was there a bloke was spear fishing under the jetty and he come up with a Barra that was probably 75cm.

How deep was the water there
I just did a weekend there with the kids in June – we were catching Tuna casting some metal lures off the end of that jetty (3-5kg) mac tunas (don't care what anyone says, they eat just great fresh! 🙂 ) – and some other bits but we never hooked anything straight down just had a hundred live baits disappear one after another but no culprit ever came up to show us what it was that was taking them.
