Definitely some hidden gems in this box. I Pulled Mike Schmidt 500 HR auto card. I was pumped! Thanks for sharing Jon👍
As a young lad in the mid-90s, I bought the Griffey from this set out of the showcase at my local card store. Cost me maybe around $5.00; which would've been my whole week's allowance at the time. Also would've been FAR more than I'd typically spend on a single card. Later that night, I remember being really bummed out once I realized the card was from 1992; several years after Griffey had made it to the majors. Felt like I got scammed really bad. I still hold a grudge about it.
Good thing you got a checklist lol
Pretty cool rip. But, I was wondering, whose board did you ride? Or, your favorite board?
Well done. Awesome as always
Poor Rob Deer. We hated him too as kids. Him and Sid Bream. 😂
i pulled the griffey ot of this in 92
Still a “Classic” set!!!!!
One thing great about those autos is that they were hand numbered!
Bubba Smith was a legend in this area, hit like 30 Homeruns one year for the Peninsula Pilots in Hampton, VA. Ended up being one of the "replacement players" during the 1995 Strike. Was moving refrigerators when he career ended, and got called back to play.
