Maybe that is how Ole wants his midfield to be. Take a look back to the past Utd sides under Sir Alex. Scholes, Keane, Ince, carrick, Fletcher all were not a No.6. Even Keane used to be a box to box player. Even if Rice arrives, Ole will mould him into a box to box midfielder as he can carry the ball. Thoughts, Dave?

We play two cdms so i think he should be perfect for us as he would be upgrade on fred and they are quite similar ig and also with lots of potential so it would be very good for us as much I would want rice he is quite expensive and chelsea would be in for him next summer also many other would come for tchouameni next summer that's why i think we should move him move for him this summer

Soon as I saw him play for France that time last year I could tell he was a player and had potential to be one of the best dm itw after seeing him for monaco few times. As a liverpool fan didn’t think he would ever be close to signing for us as Fabinho is there however a lot of people saying he is suited for a number and so glad he could be coming
