  1. Right handed golfer: If my intermediate point is slightly to the left of target, is my club face facing the target or slightly closed to the target?

  2. Hi Shawn, is she hammering the nail into the door frame or throwing. In one of the recent videos she mentioned that she is hammering the nail.

  3. The CLUBHEAD peak speed IS NOT out in front of the ball. That would be impossible. Peak speed is a little before impact. I know you mean well and are honestly enthusiastic but your swing logic is miserably inadequate.
    Sorry but true

  4. I'm a totally new beginner, only been playing for 2 weeks now and i was really having trouble with my swing untill i came across your channel yesterday.
Suddenly it feels natural to hit the ball, such a relief!
I watched your video when you give her a hammer, axe, tennisracket,..,and it changed everything.
I tried to imagine i was playing baseball at first wich helped a lot to just hit the ball in a way my body is designed to do and stop overthinking it.
    Now i can start finetuning.
You have a great way of teaching, thanks.

  5. Feel? Picture? Target? Direction to target? Peak speed after the ball! What type of shot? It’s the stuff I used to instinctively do before I started getting a load of technical golf instruction and filled my head full of gunk! I genuinely believe you have a brilliant approach, just wish I lived where you guys live! Great video guys! Much appreciated

  6. Just signed up for your premium class this year. My question watching this video is the position of her trail hand. It appears to me that it is turned under (weak?) more than I am used to. Is that something unique to her or should we all adopt that grip? I am an 86 y/o follower of your videos from way back but looking for more distance I got into a lot of other schools and now realize that I need to face up to my limited club head speed and work on your fundamentals. Also my foray into other approaches has left me not only confused but with a severe back strain.

  7. I have a big problem with consistency. Par, bogey, bogey, scramble par, then,,,Wham!: triple bogey. The light bulb really when on when I saw Savannah take a practice swing directly over (and through) the ball to determine her distance to ball. What a difference that has made in my swing. I never would have guessed that was an issue in my brain; but, I developed a habit of stepping ever so closer to the ball on my set up, even after I saw the blur over the ball. Almost subconsciously, I got closer to the ball because my brain had defaulted to "get solid contact". I was closer to the ball to "hit the ball". Now, properly set up, it does feel a little different; almost like I am slightly off balance because I am "reaching". In reality, I am not reaching at all; I am creating room to throw the club! Another solid video, with many thanks.

  8. Hey Shawn. Great videos with your daughter! I’m right handed but play golf left as I did for baseball in college, so it’s nice to see you work with Sav so I don’t have to switch everything said to the opposite. The intermediate reference is really working well for me. I’ve been striking the ball better, and “throwing” it to the target by taking my focus off the ball. It’s like trying to walk with a too full cup of coffee. If you focus on the cup, you are sure to spill the coffee and your walking motion is choppy, but when you look at where you are going instead of the cup, you stride smoother without spilling the coffee. That’s what your session reminded me of. Great videos, and thank your daughter for us as well, as she is really killing it! She has a great swing. Can’t wait to see what she does with you by her side. Thanks!

  9. One of the most distructive things for the average golfer is thinking about wrist hinge on the back swing, and I've noticed that Sav has virtually no hinge in her backswing

  10. This is great video. I heard those tips so many times, over and over but yet they are essential. The fell that I use before the shot is perpetual motion and swinging a sledge hammer, throwing. Excellent video. I never get tired of it.

  11. Absolutely another pearl of wisdom as I am so guilty of targeting the ball , can’t wait to hit the range tomorrow to try to apply your instructions 👍👍

  12. Pretty amazing. After Sav’s near hole in one, I was able to predict whether the shot would land left or right of the flag by where the ball hit the net. I guess that’s why Tiger is always trying to hit his ball through a certain window in his minds eye. By the way how did she miss that hole? 🥴 She makes it look easy.

  13. Tried out your golf swing theories and process today. Works brilliantly with irons gained about 20 meters in distances on all my irons, so absolutely stoked with that. But can’t quite get to grips with the driver swing might take more time and practice, same with the chipping. But all in all great system and will definitely persist with it. So thanks for the tips and lessons and good to see both Mo and Nav have gorgeous swings would be happy with half their swings. Ha ha

  14. Great point in setting up the intermediate point. I did it for my putting but did not realize I can do it for every shot. Thanks.
