I feel that Yarde is still average. He has raw talent but I think he needs another trainer. I don't think his ready for beterbiev because beterbiev tougher opponents and very sharp. His like another Sergey kovalev but young. It will be a big challenge
Yarde has defo improved not smothering work, not getting caught up on success and punch selection

Yarde put too much into beating an opponent he still would have beaten without using so much energy.
It's as if he was too eager , looks good , Yes, but he needs to putin the right work at the right time, his corner should know that, but they are just probably happy he got the win and that's it.
He needs to be more composed and clever with skill and use of energy against Beterbiev.
He should be fighting a Joe or Callum Smith, Rocky Felding, Marcus Browne. Smh

As we all know this game is about levels. Beterbeiv is a different beast and will dismantle Yarde within 8 rounds.
Getting Better
The shots were there but I can't deny it looked like a payed result. The guy didn't look that hurted and seemed to wait the count until the stopage. Well at least we now will see yarde against someone with shown value and thats it
Without a doubt, Yarde is very strong, but I can't help but think that his power comes from the upper body and those skinny legs will always let him down in the later rounds against top performers. Don't get me wrong he would knock me out with a missed punch, but they seem a weakness against top boxers.
Yard could have been great but he don't fight enough and only throws 1 punch at time.. he hasn't improved, it's a shame because he is the most naturally gifted British boxer in years😕

Just had a look at Koykov’s record as I’d never heard of him, his last four opponents had 75 combined losses, good prep for Beterbiev!

Yarde has not learned at all. BeterBiev is going to hurt him. That Mayweather Defence is going to cost him a big overhand right. I think Yarde is just lazy defensively so Beterbiev will be tagging him.
