FACTS:
1. Current PAC12 schools with the least value 1. Washington St, 2. Oregon St, 3. CAL/Stanford/Utah
2. Current BIG12 Schools with the least value. 1 Baylor/RAPE U, 2. TCU, 3.KSU, 4. ISU ☹ Great School/Great Fans, 5. WVU because of location
3. Networks will have a VOTE
4. Presidents will have a VOTE
5. State representatives will get involved. Especially in TEXAS, California, Oklahoma. To lesser extent Washington, Oregon, Kansas, and Arizona.
– OU and OSU
– TEXAS and TECH
– UCLA and CAL
– Arizona and ASU
– KU and KSU
– Washington and Washington St
– Oregon and Oregon St
6. It will be hard to ditch a public school over a private school
7. Academics could matter… AAU, Tier 1, Research, Student Size, Endowment etc.
8. PAC12 Network a failure
9. Longhorn network is a failure
10. For the BIG12 to break up it take 8 votes.
11. Pac12 TV contract expires in 2024
12. BIG12 TV contract expires in 2025

MONEY:
PAC12 schools earn $33 million (Tier 1, 2 & 3)
BIG12 schools earn $38.8 million (Tier 1 &2)
BIG12 Tier 3 deals average is $3 million for a total of $41.8 Million
OU Tier 3 deal is $7 million, total $45.8 million
TEXAS Tier 3 deal is $15 million, total $53.8 million
USC & UCLA maybe Oregon could make between $5-10M, maybe more $15M in the Current Big12
BIG12 average is $41.8 million compared to PAC12 $33 million
TEXAS $53.8 Million is almost $20 Million more than any PAC12 school.
These schools together should make more than the BIG10 or SEC.
The Questions:
1. Would the ACC or SEC pick up WVU, Texas Christian? Maybe
2. Would the BIG10 add Oregon, Washington and Colorado? YES
3. Would the BIG10 add KU and OU? YES
4. WVU(Morgantown) is a hard travel location. But great environment. Would they want to be in a west coast conference? Being with TEXAS, OU, USC, UCLA… I would say YES
5. Could there be PODS of 4/5?
6. Championship game could be in Les Vegas or Cowboys Stadium or California somewhere.
Let’s say, Washington/ Oregon/ USC/ UCLA, account for 70% of current PAC disbursements…
Likewise, let’s say, Oklahoma & Texas account for 70% of current XII disbursements…
That comes to a total of $3.9 billion, for 6 brands of: Washington (Seattle)/ Oregon (Portland)/ USC & UCLA (Los Angeles)/ Oklahoma (Oklahoma City)/ Texas (Dallas-San Antonio-Houston)…
Now, adding AAU brands forming 14 to 16 members: Kansas (Kansas City)/ Colorado (Denver)/ Utah (Salt Lake City)/ Arizona (Phoenix)/ California (San Francisco-Oakland), totals 11 brands…
There´s still room for Oklahoma to keep Oklahoma State/ Texas to keep Texas Tech, & Arizona to have Arizona State tag along, +2 spots…
Oklahoma & Texas, already earn $48m./$53m. (respectively) vs $51m. for the Big10 (as of now) w/o expansion?
And adding Washington, Oregon, California, USC, UCLA, Arizona, ASU, Utah, and the *66m residents. Then adding up *Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Kanas St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, TEXAS, Texas Tech and 39m folks. That is 8 team divisions that Disney can place into a single league net, of give indy a contract to OU & USC. It should schools like OU & USC in the same ballpark as Alabama in 2023, of earning $65m for all rights by ESPN.
How about you guys do a BIG12/PAC12 DRAFT Merger. EAST vs WEST or North vs South or PODS of 4.
What about actually merging the best teams from each conference? As someone who doesn’t have an allegiance to one team, i just enjoy watching good games. Something like USC vs KSU doesnt really get me excited. Realistically, the only B12 teams who actually drive big audiences are Texas, OU, OkSt and maybe: TT and TCU. At some point Texas/OU need to realize they are a LOT bigger and better then the other B12 teams…
Usc could dip after this year go independent for a year then join the big 12 Along with one other team because logic
The big 12 is making a bunch of money it’s pretty healthy
Atleast y’all aren’t trying to cut kansas which makes a lot of money Just based on how we dominate basketvall
The Kansas games are always intense
G. A. Y. A. F. 🤘⬇️💯 Nobody likes watching west coast games until 2 am.
Good video but LETS GO SOONERS
Realignment fun
But I don’t want the big 12 too make divisions I feel like it would ruin the fun
I want too see Kansas vs usc big 12 after dark
I think the idea ought to be to keep things geographically neutral. Expanding beyond a time zone isn't especially wise unless by doing so gives everyone some kind of advantage not otherwise available.
If it were up to me (commissioner for a day) I would reorganize things to suit the present condition as follows:
1. Atlantic Coast Conference: include Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Temple.
2. Big Ten Conference: Include Colorado and W. Virginia.
3. Big XII Conference: Include E. Carolina, Houston, Memphis, S. Methodist, Tulane, UCF and USF.
4. Pacific-12 Conference: Include Boise St., Brigham Young, Hawaii, San Diego St. and U.N.L.V.
5. Southeastern Conference: Include Clemson and Kansas.
6. MAC: Include Army, Liberty, Massachusetts and Navy.
7. MWC: Include Arkansas St., Louisiana Tech, N. Texas, S. Mississippi, Texas St.,Tulsa, UTEP and UTSA.
8. C-USA and Sun Belt: merge.
Independents: Connecticut and New Mexico St.
In my opinion this is the only expansion really worth contemplating.
The big 12 just need to break up you only have to school that voters care about
What would u guys think of a pac 12 big 12 merger where u take 6 pac 12 teams and 6 big 12 teams and merge or 6 and 5 and add like boise state or a houston or a school like that?
The problem with combining the big 12 and the Pac 12 is what to do with all the undesirable teams. Just combining conferences is never going to happen, a 22 team conference is a no go. Kicking teams out of conference is not an option as it would cause bad blood, and in general would not look good. The only real solution is to create a 12 team conference (just my opinion but that is the perfect number for a conference) And invite 6 teams from each conference to join a new conference. The Big 12 is easy, you don't invite 4 teams, WVU (geographic outlier), TCU (too small stadium) KSU (they bring nothing to the table) and ISU (see KSU). With the idea that maybe this new conference can steal a couple of good programs from other conferences, I would not immediately invite Texas Tech or Baylor. From the Pac the teams that immediately don't get an invite, Oregon State, Washington state, and Cal. None of which bring anything to a new conference, Cal lends itself to lots of political issues. Would not invite UCLA or Colorado. UCLA only because being a California state school they would likely stay with Cal and Colorado because when they let the Big 12 they basically told the Big 12 they more identified with California schools, not in and of itself a big deal, but they are terrible in all sports. The last school I don't invite is Stanford who is tied at the hip to Cal. That leaves Washington, Oregon, USC, Utah, Arizona and ASU joining Texas Oklahoma, OSU, KU, and possibly Tech and Baylor. The rest of those schools can do whatever they want with their respective conferences.
Just throw them all together, call it the Big 130 and call it a day.
A B12/P12 relationship could solve problems that each conference faces, especially the time zone & viewership one for the P12.
“Get rid of Cal and Stanford” smh… PAC-16 before BIG 16. The only “flashy and cutting edge” teams in the BIG 12 are Texas, Baylor, TCU, and OU. PAC-12 have Oregon, UW, WASU, USC, UCLA, Cal, Utah, Arizona St, and Stanford. All those teams have historically filled up their stadiums and been ranked. With that said, these past few years, the PAC-12 as a whole, has been lacking in talent on both the player side and coaching side ( Oregon and UW are exceptions but they haven’t won a championship). In my opinion, that is why stadium attendance has been effected the way it has. For example, look at Cal. When Tedford was at Cal, the stadium was consistently at capacity. When he left they had a TERRIBLE season and since then, attendance dropped significantly. Justin Wilcox has now built one of the best secondaries in the country at Cal and optimism is rising again. Chip Kelly at UCLA has been horrible and USC is an average team with amazing talent— reminds me of Texas. Even though the PAC-12 has struggled, with the exception of Oklahoma, the PAC-12 as a whole has produced more top tier NFL talent then the BIG 12 the last two decades. The BIG 12 and PAC-12’s enemy is the SEC and BIG 10. They have been sucking up talent. The BIG12 and PAC-12 need to be better because California and Texas are the biggest producers of football talent, and sadly, Texas, has forgotten how to develop their talent and California has forgotten how to recruit their talent. Still, Stanford and Cal, in the last decade or so, have produced more top tier NFL talent then Texas— not to mention that Cal beat Texas back-to-back in recent history— so keep that in mind when you say get rid of Stanford and Cal. PAC-12 and BIG 12 have a couching problem ( OU is the only exception) We need to merge as a whole, you can’t just say let’s take the PAC-12 South and also Oregon and UW along the way, haha what?? For one, doing that hinders with about five rivalries, and two, you can’t complain about the time difference and then take Oregon and UW the two most Western/Northern teams. I think the BIG 12 is about to be dismantled— don’t be surprised if OU and Texas both leave. Either to the SEC or to the PAC 12. Either that, or they merge which is ideal for both conferences.
Oh yay my least favorite youtubers who make excuses when they lose to baylor and then turn around and say they want to kick baylor out of the big 12. i'm excited to hear what y'all have to say
Texas and Oklahoma should petition the Big 10 for membership. What an amazing conference that would be!
To be honest I would like to see Oklahoma and Texas come to the SEC. Great video keep it up.
That makes no sense. Cal has one of the best attendances in the Pac 12. Its one of the more historic teams and becoming one of the best in Pac 12. I agree with Stanford though and others. Cal is also a bay area market which makes it have potential.
I get they y’all are from the big12 footprint but you gotta be kidding me talking up the big12 like it’s not only Oklahoma and Texas that makes up that whole conference Stanford has been more relevant than Texas the past 10 years and usc brand carries weight. The pc12 gets more kids to the nfl than big12 Why would any pc12 team want to play in the big12 the reputation of the big12 is worst than pc12. The big12 best team is still at an elite level and yet the big12 rep is worst than pc12. The pc12 problem is our big brand team isn’t taking football serious and that’s why the pc12 rep is bad. Usc problem is usc not the conference it plays in. It’s la if your winning the stadium will be packed that’s how it goes when you have a million things to do. The big12 offers nothing if it’s not Texas and Oklahoma. All those pc12 teams you talking down on puts out more players to the nfl than most big12 teams. To me this sounds like y’all need the pc12 more than the pc12 needing the big12. Oh and the big12 doesn’t make more money. Name a team in the big12 that’s not Oklahoma or Texas that get attention. Cal and Washington state and Utah have been more relevant in the past 10 years than most big12 teams
You guys have zero knowledge of pc12 almost everything that was said was bs. Pc12 was nothing since Pete carrol? What about Jim and Stanford chip with Oregon lane with usc last I checked the pc12 usually has more ranked teams than big12. Texas isn’t good winning 8 games isn’t good they have never gotten to a play off spot pc12 sent 2 teams big12 has Oklahoma and that’s it. Nobody else even gets close. Sad reality is the big12 will break up before the pc12 does. Nobody watches Kansas Kansas state Iowa state Baylor tcu wvu ok state Texas tech. That’s 80% of the big12. Those teams are no better than the lower level of pc12 teams. Big22 problem is the better Texas kids play in the sec and the big12 get stuck with the left overs and that’s why the big12 rep is it’s a soft conference. Oh and btw the state of Arizona produces better players than Oklahoma,Iowa, Kansas. So when you speak about geography you should mention that and they of the power 5 conferences the big13 send the least amount of kids to nfl EVERY YEAR

Revenue sharing is exactly why you were left behind in the last realignment. It's possible that someone would have wanted you if you didn't demand a bigger cut of the pie and to keep your pissant flavor-of-ESPN network. You don't seem to understand that equal splits promotes every team in the conference, which strengthens the lower end of the conference, which bolsters the entire conference. That's why the SEC commands massive TV contracts and the Big XII (except Texas) is relegated to Fox Regional. Drop the demand for a bigger piece of the pie. It might just save the Big XII. Nah, probably not.
Stanford is a top tier football program. Why kick them out
Texas needs to drop the long horn network. I really don't see that happening. Go independent Texas or. Make a new big 12 network.

Texas isn't even top two boys go win on a consistent basis and the you can bash on schools like Iowa State and K-State
I hate to break it to you, but Texas has been losing for the past 10 years in both sports (basketball & football) to schools like Baylor and TCU. If there is realignment, no one is going to accept the LHN or the lopsided payouts for UT anymore. The Longhorns best bet is to stay with the Big12 for as long as possible, or to go indy.
If UT went independent, then the Big12 could easily grab back A&M, Colorado and others who left due to UT nonsense. It would also make it easier to grab ASU and maybe even USC… especially if indy Texas had an agreement with the Big12 similar to Notre Dame and the ACC… at least 6 games per year. As soon as you announce, WVU would probably jump ship at the first offer (likely from the ACC). Then we could backfill those 2 losses with ASU and Colorado… and then add A&M, Zona, USC and Utah to make it a 14 team conference.
Yal go independent, and take the LHN with you… could be the best thing for everyone.
Idk i feel im supposed to say BOOOOOMMEERRRRR!!
The California legislature forbids government money being spent un certain states, including some in the XII.
That makes UCLA and UC pretty difficult.
I think USC would be great, but I don't know that they come without another Calufornia, and that might just leave Stanford, which is not exciting.
