Players like Henderson, Milner are work horse midfielders where as Keita has good abilities to run with the ball forward but what of it if there is no pace to run. In addition, Keita doesn't have the vision and technical ability like Carvalho and Elliot. It was clear we seriously lacked a creative player since we didn't score in 3 finals. But with the addition of the Carvalho and the fully fit Elliot we might be possesing the next Coutinho in our hands. I think Klopp regreted not bringing Firmino earlier in the UCL final as he was our only creative midfielder in the attacking third.
He reminds me so much of Coutinho. I have a feeling this guy is going to be bossing the midfield in 4 or 5 years. Then someone like Madrid will sign him for over 100 million and Liverpool would have made a huge profit.
As good as he looks for me doesn't have the pace to play in any of the wide attacking roles. Key to our success over last few years was finally we had pace out wide. Salah mane were electric. Diaz is too. Carvalho maybe would be better playing midfield?
