      Gilbert Green is 9-3 with six submission wins. He lost his last fight against my boy Daniel Rodriguez which was way back in May 2020. It was his Octagon debut, although I think Octagon chitters is less impactful under COVID attendance rules. He's going up against the 30 year old Phillip Rowe, who has finished all seven of his wins. They have all come, by the way, in a row. Rowe has a significant height and reach advantage. Here, the Tapology votes almost swayed me, but I'm sticking with Gilbert Green. Decision.

      Usman by 5rd control. Yes Gilbert packs a harder punch but kamaru is the much bigger man, he has that grown man Nigerian strength mixed with American wrestling. Just different. Damian Maia almost controlled Gilbert after 1 single leg attempt, I believe the first minute of that fight will look like the 25 mins of this fight.

      Brian Kelleher has had 10 UFC fights and is 6-4 in them. He's coming off a 39 second first round submission win. He also has a submission win over Ode Osbourne about a year ago. Ricky Simon is six years younger than Kelleher but already has seven UFC fights, going 5-2 in those fights. Kelleher can scrap with the best of 'em. But for me, I'm taking Simon via decision.

      Gilbert is probably stronger but Marty has the 5 inch reach advantage. This is Burns 2.0 (the next generation) on the rise, but Usman WILL be a PROBLEM for him. Regardless, it's a fun fight.

      Torn ACL: Thank you Matt for pointing out Barber is 22 years of age and Santos is 37. If it happens to you when you’re young you can get past it. I was All-In for Glover while my homies had Santos. I won. Marquez is 30 and is a big guy. Pop and popcorn.

      Blondie has a song “One way, or another, I'm gonna find ya, I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha” which would be more appropriate to walk out to rather than “Heart of Glass”. You know Kendra Lust? (wink wink) I know Kendra Lust. Interesting that a fighter who is collaborating with a porn star is about to have it out with a fighter who was beaten by a porn star.

      Heel hooks aren’t always such an honourable submission. With all due respect to Moises, I was not high on the Michael Johnson finish, and that too, right at the top of R2 after he was having his ass handed to him in R1. Or was it special because it was a rare Achilles Lock? With Gastelum, it was not a wise choice to go grappling with the Joker. Yes, Hermansson tripped him down but Gastelum rolled on top. Joker did some beautiful work (step by step) from underneath to find the heel hook. Legit win, but just very disappointing of Kelvin. Don’t know if Gastelum has it anymore…It looks like pop and popcorn against Heinsch.

      Loser of three of his last four, Maki Pitolo needs this win. Meanwhile, Marquez hasn't fought in two and a half years since a split decision loss to Alessio Di Chirico. Most media and fans had Marquez winning that one, for whatever it's worth. If he handles the long layoff well, I think Marquez wins. And that's my official prediction. Marquez by first round TKO.

      ‘Time off’ is becoming an issue for those fighters you really want to bet on, or rather for whom you used to bet heavy on. You never know what you’re gonna get when they return. If THE Jimmie Rivera showed up, could Marlon Moraes have KO’d him, and that too, so quickly? Then again, if it was going to finish, Marlon is a R1 artist yes, but for a decision we know about Marlon’s tank. The rise of Aldana is truly something spectacular, but I could never have believed that she could knock out Ketlen who gave the impression of a female version of Little Rubber once upon a time. Did Vieira have a baby during her ‘time off’ or was law school that hectic?

      Once fighters start commentating for UFC, and wearing a 3 piece suit, they seem to lose some MMA skills unless it’s DC, Felder, or Usman. Do you feel this way about Alan Jouban? I had known for some time that Ponzinibbio was a Spanish commentator but did not know about the severity of his staph infection. When I saw him walking out to fight Jingliang he looked horrible, and as I heard the commentators mentioning that at one point he had a low WBC count and was fighting for his life, I knew my bet was out the window before the Tale of the Tape.

      I have to go Usman in the main event. They both have Maia and Woodley as common opponents. Looking elsewhere, I think overall Usman has more impressive victories over better opponents. His wins include Leon Edwards, Sean Strickland, Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Rafael Dos Anjos and even Warlley Alves. Burns's wins over MIke Davis, Gunnar Nelson and Kunchenko can't match that.

      hi guys.. great stuff! I also do MMA predictions, here are some consolidated thoughts on some fights, if u would allow me:
      (feel free to visit my channel if guys r interested)

      Kamaru Usman vs Gilbert Burns – high level fight, awesome fight – Burns is so elite in the ground, very good wrestling, has explosive power, fast hands, very good kicks – Usman is the bigger man here, he doesnt carry much fluidity on the hands, but he has the higher output and the wrestling -as good as Burns is on the ground, from the top Usman has the advantage and I think we will see Usman making Burns work,get tired and from there he will pick up the pace – pick Usman, interested in betting Usman to a decision or late finish – Burns has more chances in the first couple of rounds -I am taking a prop beton Usman by RD 5 at +2200, very decent chance to cash!

      Mallory Martin vs Polyana Viana – interesting match-up, I think Martin is in for a tough fight – Viana used to lay back too much on her fights,but after the Hannah Cifers loss she seemed to have gotten the wake up call – Viana is a dangerous fighter, she has got the speed, power, accuracy on the feet, great kicker, good knees up the middle and a high level BJJ – Martin is tough, she will try to come forward, strike, wrestle a little bit, but she doesnt have the range, the power and if she shoots I think she will get submitted – the only way I see Martin winning here is if Polyana again sits back and doesnt do much, but I think Viana is coming hard and will dominate this fight – pick Viana by sub, betting Viana comfortably at +150 – 7% of my betting money

      I Don't agree with the Burns win, Usman by KO, Predicting this will more of a scrap. Maycee barber by split decision. Gastelum and Heinisch for fight of the night…LETS GET INTO IT!
