The glory days of Manny Pacquiao. When arriving here in 2001, Pacquiao brought a 33-2 record with him. He was 32-3 in his last 35 fights after arriving here in 2001. Before losing the 1st fight with Morales, Pac had won 15 in a row. After losing that fight, he won 15 in a row again. He nearly won 31 in a row, save for losing by 115-113 on all cards in the bloody Morales fight. I've shifted to keeping my own records. Some judges decisions are very bad and we have no power to do anything, so I've learned to trust myself and consensus opinion after a fight. I'm talking about fights such as the first Pac/Bradley fight. Of 125 sports writers etc. that scored that fight, only 3 of them had Bradley winning. That's such a huge majority that I overturned the decision, the hell with the Las Vegas crooks. I also gave Pac a win in the first Marquez fight. It was scored a draw, but one judge immediately admitted that he made a math error on his card. A correction of that error would have given Pac the win, not a draw as the official record shows. The Vegas commission denied Pac's appeal in that case, saying it didn't rise to the level to overturn the decision. If a math goof-up by a pro judge isn't reason enough to give Pac the fight that he legally won, then the Vegas Commissioners deserve no consideration. Thus, I keep my own scores. Regarding the Pac/Horn fight, virtually everyone had Pac winning, 8-4 or thereabouts. Pac landed 182 punches, Horn landed 92. Pac landed more in 11 of the 12 rounds, yet one judge gave Horn 9 of the 12 rounds. Horn averaged 7 punches landed per round, yet all 3 judges thought that was good enough to take the belt from the champion. Pac averaged 16 punches per round landed. I have Pac ending his brilliant career at 65-5-2. That's in-line with consensus views re: the 3 fights I mentioned. The hell with Las Vegas commissioners, they've proven to be corrupt over and over so I don't value their opinion much.
Manny had never fought in super flyweight which is 115 lbs. so how come he was a former champion? I think Mike Buffer was supposed to say super bantamweight
That's how you end a trilogy!!kudos to marquis for fighting with Manny with all of his heart! And floyd you should be ashamed to be called as greatest fighter with bitching !!
Pacquiao went to war, lost got better and went back to battle. That is why I can never say Floyd is better. Floyd waited til manny went through crusades and aged (took damaged from his battles) and then fought him. Meanwhile Floyd merely bored us to sleep with point boxing. Even though Floyd struggles to read he played that smart. Prime manny beats prime Floyd down 100%
So sad to see Erik Morales look at his corner and call it a day. Pacquiao is a legend but he too met a similar fate when he was dropped and stayed down against Juan Manuel Marquez.
After this epic fight.they become good friends. They even have beer commercial in philippines and morales enjoy his vacation in the ph. What a great legends

Manny laid him in his casket in the 2nd fight, the 3rd fight was just a nail in the coffin

Pac-Man is the Mexican Taco eater assassin.
this is boxing!! mexican and filipino give you a toe to toe war.. not like boxing today winning by points and hugging and running
Why???? miss Mayweathers Floyd Mayweather won't give Manny Pacquiao another rematch 3
The way Sarah sings the National Anthem, parang forced, to the point na hindi na maganda pakinggan. Haha

Mga alaalang di na maibabalik
two awesome fighters
Morales would have been stopped earlier if that ref hadn’t waited so long to continue the fight. He looked off not like the first two fights
2023🎉
Erik Morales is a warrior❤
came here after watching the latest shakur fight, that clown claimed that he would smoke pacquiao in his prime, what a fooking clown
Morales was never a competition to manny..
