Never heard the idiom six of one, half a dozen of the other until today
32:30 In the Karius/Benzema thing, they were like 1.5 meters apart. In the Ederson case, it was maybe 10 cm? I would assume that this is the difference
Edit: Sorry, I of course meant to say that Karius and Benzema were around 30 Freddos apart while in the Ederson case it was 2 Freddos
Jon was unreal on this podcast 👏👏
Good ep thanks lads
amitai is a great addition to the pod
Never change Tifo, never change
Joe Devine: why do you talk so much more serious & posh on the interviews you've done previously vs the more recent IRL Podcasts and Gameshows, etc
Joe’s back and the energy of this pod instantly feels different
I came here specifically to tell Joe that the Freddos chat was absolutely fantastic.
Oh god if JJ Bull had been here 🤣🤣🤣
Ah yes, I see they've seen the HITC Sevens vid, with them mentioning Kerlon.
Any chance for a video comparing what did NOT work in Zlatan to Barcelona but working so well with Haaland in MC now? is it only me seeing those as somehow related?
Jeez, that guy Seb's take on the Liverpool/Bournemouth match is completely wrong!!😬
Stating that it was all because Liverpool were fantastic and he just didn't know if Bournmouth could have done anything to stop Liverpool. Well how about pressing, competing, marking, running etc etc. Bournemouth didn't do any of the basics to have any hope in that match. In their last 3 games in the EPL Bournemouth have scored 0 and let in 16. No Seb, Bournemouth were shambolic.
47:25 all about Freddos…
One of the funniest episodes ever. Joe was on form 😂
Had to leave a like and comment just for Jon's Fredo bit
Jesus Christ, Joe is the funniest podcast host since Norm Macdonald
I love you guys
The freddos segment was very interesting
Came here specifically from Spotify to tell Joe that the Freddies section was indeed fantastic and long may this segment continue in future iterations of the tifo football podcast.
Nice to see that Jon has fully committed to being a Tifo member.
Joe Devine always makes me laugh
Does Arthur to Liverpool make sense?
I would think they need more creativity considering Thiago is injury prone…
Please more Freddo-related football!
You deserve the BAFTA or something for the Freddos bit
The thing to add about pundits, I would say vast majority are out there because they needed their ego stroke and most wouldn't even have the current knowledge to coach a league 2 team, or the nerve to like Scholes who quickly resigned. There are a few ex-players who are entertaining and not afraid to be a bit silly and a few who tries to give genuine analysis, but a lot of them their favourite line is "back in my day" and then go on about how tough it was, but it always leads back to a compliment to themselves or a criticism of the current players. My bigger problem is when they criticize current players for posting on social media and instead they would just go to the pub, and implied they drink copious amount of alcohol; they are so out of touch that they think getting smashed and being alcoholics are somehow the lesser evil of people posting on Instagram.
Great performances by 'Dog' (good boy) and 'THE NEWSMAN' on the pod. I also find it hilarious every time Joe cuts off Seb whenever he starts to excitedly expand on a point, at least his gates are always good though!
Love the show – do you have plans for other presenters? Maram was great but disappeared. Good to get some colour on there
haaland looks like Majin Buu
I like those long stories from the athletic, wish there is more of them😃
City and Spurs are also unbeaten
I love when comedians are also good at something else.
Top Gear, Tifo
Tifo Team, next podcast it would be great if you could discuss VAR and the interpretation of the offside rule.
I am not a Liverpool nor Everton fan, but I am sitting here watching the Mersey Derby and witnessed yet another goal chalked off because a part of a player was mere centimetres past the last defender.
There have been multiple goals disallowed tgis season because of miniscule margins of offside. I am pretty sure that was never the spirit of the rule, and think we should be advocating for more goals, not taking them away.
Hopefully you see this and get the conversation going as a catalyst to changing how this role is interpreted….
How can Liverpool be "developing" their midfield without signing younger, better midfielders over multiple transfer windows? They have been stagnating their whole squad by not signing finished article players, especially in midfield.
33:50–34:30. If joe devine is found dead in a ditch, this is why
Are you guys allergic to Aston Villa? Even with a week where something remotely interesting happened with them you haven't really touched on them yet this season.
Here for Freddo infomation
