I do like a wing back who can go past players as opposed to just being able to cross a ball.. I like the way he like to eat up the space in front of him as opposed to playing the ball sideways and backwards. His willingness to drive at the space in front of him a commit players. This will open up more space for a right winger like Diaz or Leo if lfc can get him. He seems to have good physical presence as well and can mix it. A left sided wing back who can get busy from left back position is much needed at lfc at the moment. In fact, lfc can do with that type ability at right back as was because defensively, right back is a problem and Trent wants to move into midfield. And joe is a good cover at right back but not the long term solution.

He was good against Liverpool in their last meeting…he suffocated Salah.
I don't understand.. do we really need him?! we need a holding midfielder and a wide center back if possible, like Ake in City.

We do need a young LWB, Robertson isn't the same player anymore, he can't run past players like he used to, I'd rather see him convert into a CB
