As someone who once was an A league fan and then lost interest in the game, I feel like the Socceroos have reignited my love for the game and I'm keen to give A league another chance. I feel this is what the Socceroos have created and I think a league will benefit from a lot of people having now having the same mentality as me.
I think Football has more registered players than any other sport. FA should start and keep repeating that Football is Australia's national sport. The public will after a while start believing it
I hope they find a way to introduce a second division with promo relegation. Without the joy and fear of going up and down and the smaller historic clubs with community bonds, the a-league will always have a ceiling.
