Where is that passion from Soccer media now? Seems like the passion is coming from FIFAmerica and others. Passion is not toxic as some in the media try to label folks critical of GGG's decisions. Intelligent and measured criticism can be instructive and not destructive as long as it is accept and acted on. Keep up the good work Jake.

Fascinating that Twellman didn't say any of these negative things until after this failure. If he really had those thoughts, why didn't he voice them before the failure at T&T? Then he tried to turn around and use the same "What are we doing" after a loss a year or two ago. He did it for clicks and views, but is a major part of the problem.
Also, I have met him in person at a USA soccer game. talk about arrogance. I am really glad we don't have to put up with him as much, because ESPN doesn't support soccer, and Twellman is a follower, not a leader in USA soccer coverage or reform

Looking ahead it will be interesting how US plays better competition. Friendlies were somewhat helpful but now less useful as UEFA teams play their Nations League tournament. US needs to either play in Copa America and/or make concacaf teams better
Great video….not gonna lie….I kinda hate you for making it bc the curse….gosh…it's something I've felt unlike anything in my sports fan history. I've cheered for teams that one championships, lost in title matches, etc. Plenty of highs and lows but nothing compares to the feeling I got from Couva.
Hell the night it happened I laughed…I was SOOOOOOO indignant that USSF allowed this to happen. I thought I was so angry I'd be fine. I was wrong. Watching the World Cup, a sinking feeling set in, took hold, and it hasn't left me for a single moment. Nations Leagues, Gold Cups, didn't help that feeling at all.
Today, we are on the edge of reversing this curse and I'm excited….but anxious.
I'm in a weird position: I've been following the US since the lead up to WC '94 (I even still wear my red/white stripe jersey that I bought in '94). However, for some odd reason that I can't explain, I didn't pay attention during the 2018 qualifying season. So, the Couva loss doesn't hit me that hard. I appreciate how it was devastating, but it doesn't fill me with dread.
I will never forget that defeat simply was embarrassing and the team was so soft and weak in that TNT game. My hopes for tonight is for the USMNT to take advantage of their pace,athleticsim and finish these goal scoring opportunities
Words of truth. Our mainstream media is not allowed to ask real and difficult questions of the USSF and whomever is coaching. That is why I think you and others like you are better to watch and hear. Asking real questions about real situations. Also the fan base is more informed and are asking the questions main stream won't tall about. Keep up the good work!
We DONT deserve to be in the World Cup! We qualified in last place by goal differential. If it wasn’t for the Jamaica disallowed goal, we probably wouldn’t qualify. If we can’t beat Costa Rica’s B team, we will not beat New Zealand’s A team.
