The team battered Chelski, not the 2 Americans, Jack Harrison was the MotM, and IMO there was no player below an 8.5/9 rating for that game. The other thing that really impressed me was the fact that the team was so disciplined, even after the subs, they slotted in so easily, it was very impressive to see. Jesse also learned from his mistakes the week before, lets be honest, the loss of 2 points against Southampton was a 100% Jesse's fault for not making changes after Southampton did and changed the flow of the game. We all make mistakes, so it was good to see he corrected them so quickly.

You're forgetting Jack Harrison who is an ex MLS player!
I understand why you're focusing on individual performances, but there's a higher level factor. Jesse has produced a team and there are no individuals, only well fitting parts. An excellent team will overcome indervidual weaknesses in skills. A good fit of any player in the team is what matters most. Brendan and Tyler are both a great fit into the team.
It's hard to measure team fit, but you know it when you see it, and I'm seeing it.
i like phillipo hes keen to learn and loves the game you can tell … in answer to your question about us football getting respect from the rest of the world .. ill have to say no and never will .. there is a reason thought its not just snobery its the fact the MLS is a closed division with no football pyramid .. so no relagation or promotion .. and as long as it stays that way we will always see it as mickey mouse football and never take it seriously …..now in term of individual players … for a nation the size of the us you have litterally produced nothing … its seen as a girls game .. so until its pushed more in schools and colleges for guys .. and until its not a closed division .. it will never get much respect

Woke up early in the US to watch Leeds v Chelsea and man was I rewarded. Hyped to watch more of Leeds. As a USMNT fan it's nice to support our players on a working class club as opposed to Chelsea or Juve or Barca. No offense to those clubs but I'm a sucker for underdogs.

You guys don't get it do you? This interest in the "gRoWtH oF tHe MLS bRoUuUu" and in american players in european clubs is all just to get americans hyped and interested in the 2026 WC. After the 2026 WC, the entirety of europe and the world in general are going to forget the "gRoWtH oF tHe MLS bRoUuUu" given that they don't need americans interested in the sport and buying their shirts anymore.
Don't believe me? Well you probably don't know football history because this is almost exactly what happened for the 1994 WC, the US didn't even have a professional league, fifa and all the big european clubs just saw a business oportunity in the US, its not like america is a talent hotspot, they have shown that they aren't.
If he gets mid table okay, above that he's done well. Relegation battle he'll have to go. But 1st season so he'll get away with it, however the following season the knives will be out if its bottom half of the league. He needs to calm down on the touch line. It spreads to the players and they do stupid things. And no stupid dreaming of a European place, the will get stuffed. That's a few season later if he/players merit it. Yorkshire folks are usually down to earth, but when it gets to LUFC they seem to lose touch with reality. And I say this as a born in Leeds 60 year old that lives in France.
