If the fans don't like what you have chosen to do with the team you own they can choose to stay away. If the National Football League decide your ownership practices are within their operational parameters you can do whatever you want. If they don't agree with your decision they can tell you what steps it takes to correct your errors. As the owner of the Cleveland Browns you can hire anyone you can afford to hire and any and all fans will have to live with your decision. The fans that chose to pay their money to go to the Browns games must understand they too can choose to "vote" with their feet by leaving the venue anytime they want or chose not to watch your team live or on television. All you Baker supporters , Baker gave his all, nobody can disagree with that . But I believe Baker had a very low ceiling . Just look at the loses vs his wins .. he only beat about 6 playoff teams in his 4 years .. the rest of his wins come against below 500 teams . I understand we as Cleveland fans was excited about his passion after 22 years of trash and wasted pics and poor trades and poor coaching . But numbers do not lie and his numbers with this roster makes no sense. Do we as fans want to watch all this talent go to waste. If Baker was not the weak link on the offense side of the ball, then who is ?????
Is anyone surprised nobody wants Baker. All QBs have good/bad years. But the immaturity, entitled attitude, can divide a locker room and lack of physical attributes don't help.
Don't forget that BAKER forced the insanely aggressive offer for Watson. BAKER didn't prove he was worth the $ he demanded over four years. BAKER likes to switch the focus from the game to the drama.
The entire front office and Stefanski need to step out in front of everyone and give a press conference with questions. Written statements mean nothing.
