I get it but it's not exactly the same as playing the Euros in Africa. It is called the Copa America, so technically it hasn't left the continent. Also a great opportunity to expand the sport here in the USA.
I just don't like the Inclusion Canada and USA because they think there is no America but two continents; so let's segregate them in "their continent". And Mexico gave up being part of CONMEBOL when they realised they would suffer to qualify to the World Cup, so stay away from us, traitors.
