  1. Its funny, because in American football, if you're winning, it's seen as disrespectful to run up the score. Like, going for another try after the horn, would make sports headlines for how disrespectful it would be. But, in rugby….

  2. Most these videos i see is very incredible but they all have the same problem, they dont always need music in the background it ruins it sometimes.

  3. hard man's game unlike football where if you even look at them the wrong way they roll about on the ground as if they have been shot by a sniper

  4. I remember one time me and the opposite flanker got into a scrap on the pitch and we both got carded, as we walked off the pitch we both hugged and joked about how awful our punches were. In the clubhouse after the game I got him a pint and unbeknownst to me he had also got me one! The values are what makes this game of ours so fantastic to play. Everything stays on the pitch

  5. The violence is left on the pitch.
That is the difference between Rugby and footballers.
These blokes are huge, they are in a brutal game where hard men live.
    Footballers do not.

  6. that is what really make that sport very special and not understandable for those who never played …. and several galaxies away from football.

  7. I love all sports tbh but rugby stands out the most because of the people, approachable and decent human beings.I remember seeing former all blacks 2006-2012 conrad smith for the first time in person at a local club rugby game he was supporting his local club and I was there to support my local club, when I noticed him I remember I was completely lost for words and just stared at him my eyes never leaving his eyes and he obviously knew I was start struck so he smiled and he battled past other fans towards me and shook my hand 😊 I never will forget that moment I was only 9 years old.I had similar moments with maa Nonu and Rodney sooialo

  8. Sanctimonious holier than thou self congratulatory stuff like this is a big part of the reason rugby is in decline.

We like to look down on footballers for their individualism and egos but then our sport lionises complete idiots like Joe Marler while its behaviour over Owen Farrell's headshot on Taine Basham was pure hypocrisy.

How do you think this looks to floating fans outside the sport's bubble?

  9. Played rugby back in 70s, both teams knocked sh*t of each other for 80mins, then knocked back numerous pints with each other after game….great memories!

  10. I am the most cynical old prick you have ever met but this amazing representation of the spirit of the greatest team sport ever, made me feel that this world is actually a wonderful place. Thank you for that 👊

  11. For the full 80 mins, I will be the asshole to my opposition. But once the full time whistle blows, the smile just come to my face.

You just leave everything aside once the whistle blows. I guess rugby is like life, it is tough, it hits you in your face every now and then, it fucks you up, but there is always a silver lining at the end.
