His swagger was off the chart, some of the goals he scored were epic and his overall persona brings mystic beyond football. Now, there is talent and there is consistency and longevity. Deschamps has proved consistent both as a player and a coach. Although cantona did retire early and had many years in him for sure.

Under the apprenticeship of those players, we gained arguably the greatest premiership player of all time, Henry. Watch thierry during his later years and you can see the physical power of Thuram, the intelligence of Deschamps and the balance and footwork of Djorkaef.
Cantona would have been great teaming up with Zidane. Zidane sits a bit deeper than Cantona who is kind of like an in the hole striker who also can operate from deep or up top.
Both are just sublime with the ball and I would have loved to see them combine just for the passion of football
