Chelsea’s defence last year was fine until the wheels fell off the whole team, even with the atrocious finishing happening all season long meaning that teams were able to attack against them more. They also have Colwill back, Badiashile acclimated as long as he’s ok after his injury and James and Chilwell fit and properly backed up for the first time in years. As long as they get in Caciedo or someone of that ilk to give solidity in midfield they should have a much better defence next season.
