      I think it’s a really poor and misleading stat and a red hearing used by lampard to cover his issues. Firstly it doesn’t tell you about the quality of the chance, although there are less the chances that we are giving are defence splitting, easier chances. Secondly it draws no connection to game situation, for instance if a team is already leading (or drawing) to preserve their points they are less likely to take risks hence less chances created. Lampard actually watched MOTD where he picked that stat up from thinking it will justify a team he has disjointed..again a very poor tactic no pun intended!

      imo the whole team gets nervous and they get tight. The way Kepa reacted to Zouma's back pass showed this timidity. They expect a goal and no matter how hard they try to prevent it, it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy. Some of the goals are just ridiculous starting with Ziyech's goal in last year's CL. Shots from out side the box, over head kicks, and a lot of deflected goals makes the team feel snake bit. This is why Silva is important right now. He has that ability settle everyone.

      Those stats just show really that the system works and it's the personel. All of Lampard signings are the ones doing well which shows the problem is clearly personel and not the manager. Had this not been the case then Lampard would be at fault really.

      Lampard is the problem he doesn't know what he is doing, instead of blaming all the time players ( kepa) , frank is not good enough for Chelsea football club

      You rarely make a point I disagree with even when I do sometimes think differently the points you make and how you lay them out you make your points with explanations. Top class keep it up ✊🏼

      We follow the same pattern as Liverpool and Man City as high pressing teams, the main difference is that those teams have stud defenders and goalkeepers who can bail them out of jail, and we don't. We'll get better with time and new faces at the back.

      Daniel i ppreciate your content as usual. I want to say that Frank is a good coach/trainer, but not good in management (man). It's evident in how he sets up his team to play. A manager understands the strength and weaknesses of his players and sets them up to bring out the best of them e.g Conte, Klopp, and Mourinho in his first season at united (he said coming second in the table with that group is his greatest achievement). Lampard is not harnessing his players strengths. He's obsessed with playing from the back and high pressing football that he doesn't see that these crop of players are not comfortable in it. I also remember that as a player he rejected the style of play he's trying to implement now (under Andreas Villas Boas). Most players that are successful coaches now perfect the system they played in their time.
