Ortiz could have won.. to many air punches and I felt like his coach is not letting him box on his own to gain that self experience.. after later rounds no more coaching and that seem to drop Ortiz skill level.. this may be 1 fight that Ortiz let slip through..

That goes against their narrative does it not?? Loma is so great that whoever throws ANYTHING that just touches him, their given credit. All of Teos blocked shots were counted, same as this here.

Both of these guys deserve praise. This was Ortiz’s toughest fight of his career and he stepped up in a big way.
Loma seemed to have lost a step, but still displayed exquisite timing and technique. Was ring rust a factor, or is age catching up to the “Matrix?”

Loma was definitely rusty because he normally stays in the gym on his off time to stay sharp but he was out for almost a year and he was fighting for his country not in the gym and it showed in this fight but he was looking sharper as the fight went on! I know he will be ready when he fights Haney!
