A resurgence of the old patterns that all still work!!
I was in John Norris fly fishing shop in Penrith the other day and this old guy was telling the shop assistant that all the fly tying stuff they sold was rubbish and they should buy from Dave Downie 🤟🤣🤣

Love all the old patterns…one of the best ways to test your fly tying skills. With all the modern materials available now you can tie so many varieties of the old flies.
