  1. MLB was using juiced up baseball's for Yankees games so the " record " isn't valid . Aaron judge also strikes out at a alarming rate so not really a great player but unfortunately this is what modern day baseball has become. it's strikeouts or homers.

  2. I was there in person for No. 62 and lemme tell you… the audio does not even capture how truly loud we were that night.

  3. On opening day 2022, I bought double header tickets to see the Yankees in Arlington on the last week of the season. Left field seats, beside the bullpen. I went to school with Lucas Luetge, so I try to go catch him whenever they come to Texas.

Ive been to World Series games in Houston, Arlington, and St. Louis. I've NEVER heard a stadium as loud as Arlington was the moment #62 cleared the fence. It was even louder than Minute Maid when the Astros won the title in 21.

Special, magical, unforgetable…all fit the description of witnessing history.

  4. He as far as I care, IS the Homerun champ. The only thing you can possibly argue is Maris had only 154 games to hit 61. But Sosa, McGwire and Bonds? Forget about it. The Judge has made his ruling

  5. A couple of things about Michael Kay’s calls on the 3 home runs:

-There was a controversy about whether or not Kay would be able to make the calls cuz the national networks had picked up a few of the games. All for nought because he winded up making all 3 calls.

-He paid homage to Phil Rizzuto’s 61 call for Roger Maris by saying “this could be it!”

    Some great all time calls

  6. As a long time Roger Maris fan I knew this day was coming one day. I’m surprised it took this long. 61 years after 1961. WoW. I’m delighted I was able to witness it and I’m delighted Aaron Judge another Yankee was able to set the record.

  7. I’ll never forget that night when he hit 60, we rallied to load the bases and then big g hits the grand slam to make judge smile for the win!
