      I love Phil but I think some of his meltdowns are even more entertaining than his wins. Johnny Miller's commentary is greatly missed. No filter at all. The commentary these days is vanilla in comparison to Johnny, everyone afraid of causing offence.

      I am a lefty that has always played righty. When the shots start to go wide right (left in his case) its incredibly hard to turn it over

      Wow what a turn of events. Ogilvy had the steel to finish off the round. Imagine Montè switching clubs at the last second lol huge mistake.

      One little thing I love about this open is the tee markers. Just blue spheres. No USGA tee markers like we see today. It's as if they are just playing a casual members tournament from the tips. Pretty cool.

      Everytime I watch footage of this tournament I always pray for a different outcome for Phil. Same when I watch the 2009 open at Turnberry with Tom Watson. I know how it ends, but I always hold out hope that it ends differently.

      Everyone talks about Phil but boy did Monty blow that one. He was smack in the middle of the fairway, unlike Phil. And even when he was in the rough, he should have at least made bogey. Missed the green, bad chip out of the rough AND a three-put…

      It was very big news here in Australia when Ogilvy won; first Aussie to win US Open in quite a while. He probably should have won another major or two. Then again majors are extremely hard to win! Monty deserved to win one..

      4:51:00 Phil's 3rd on 18 is, to quote Dan Hicks, "a fried egg" in the bunker
      4:55:00 Phil's 4th on 18 from the bunker goes through the green into the rough
      4:56:53 Phil's 5th on 18 from the rough goes past the hole, handing Ogilvy the US Open

      Ken Ferrie acting upset at the "superman superman" stuff is a joke. They said it clearly after you hit, don't stare them down and act like they messed up your shot, the ball was well in the air already
