  1. Honestly it was Mexico’s Jorge Campos who first started this revolutionary change. Of course it was not noticeable because he played in Mexico. He was a forward turned goalkeeper so his ability to play with his feet was great. I invite all you to watch some of his videos and you’ll see how great he was with the ball at his feet and a great keeper as well.

  2. I introduced one of my nephews to PS a few days ago. He couldn't believe that a goalkeeper could score goals. He loved it. He's also an Arsenal fan.

  3. Schmeichel used to play as a striker for much of his youth career, so he wasn’t terrible with his feet. He also played the sport of handball where the keepers there have a very distinct way of spreading their body out like an X as they rush out, making themselves as big as possible. He incorporated that a lot when he rushed out to meet strikers.
