Unfortunately there has been a lot of people snagging theses fish. I seen where there supposed to be installing hidden cameras and passing a law anyone caught snagging fish will face time in jail and a massive fine. IAM just glad there doing something about it. I was wondering why right after the hole Mike long thing went viral. Suddenly you seen more hudge bass selfies than ever in history. Seriously. It was like he got caught and 2 days later there was thousands of people with pictures of 15 lb bass. When before it was not like that. Its a disgrace. Disgusting human beings. wow this this was spot on the same thing I was doing the other day. there was like a 3 foot gap between the weeds and the top of the water. I was just checking how my Swimbait was running at the end of a cast and a 5+ just comes shooting out of the hydrilla like 3 feet from my canoe and slammed it. absolutely scared the living hell out me lol. so fun watching them shoot through those weeds.
Definitely a juicy place to fish. Setting up good on the Delta for spawning.
