I still want an apology cam from all those Celtics fans who wanted my guy Smart out….. don’t be riding on him now when y’all wanted him out. I’ve been with Smart since day 1. All those time he took them 3s I was with it. He takes those swing 3s and 3s that stop the other team from making a run. Y’all still hated him for it. Yes he miss some but when someone make the right basketball move you have to give him credit.
I can screen capture all my time that I wrote about Smart and saying we go as far as he take us. 2Jays can get 30 each, without Smart defending the other team’s best player, taking charges, swiping the ball away and calming this team down we will never win. The way Smart traffic this team to stay where they needed to be to defend, calling out screens and switches, Smart does it all…

From defensive standpoint, with Marcus back we saw less drop coverages. It limited Miami shooters greatly hence they weren't as effective as in Game 1
This would be inching toward a sweep if we had smart & AL game 1

Wheres all the Smart haters?!?!?? Yall hiding if theres any even still left. Hes becoming the player weve always hoped hed be. He gets better every single season since joining the league, and I expect that trend to continue for at least a couple more seasons. Hes such a game changer and fits perfectly with Jaylen and Jayson. Really been a pleasure watching this group grow and mature to the team theyve become.
I don't believe anything other than injuries is going to stop this Celtics team. The primary reason they lost game 1 was all the turnovers in the 3rd quarter, and they just happened to be missing their starting PG. With Smart and Horford out there, there's also no weak link on defense. And you also finally have the full front court available, which hasn't been the case since RW's injury. And that's the biggest difference between the teams now and the teams of two years ago. Then the Celtics had no answer for Bam. Now they have multiple answers. The Celtics need to have the killer instinct, though. They have the advantage in the series, but that can change very quickly. And the Heat aren't going to just roll over.

Smart is the perfect guy to have around JT and JB. Couldn't ask for a better all around team and all drafted and developed by the Celtics. Love it
You know what this Celtics team is the best remaining team? It’s because Tatem, Brown, Smart, Horfard, Rob Williams, Pritchard, and Grant Williams have all had games in these playoffs where they just took over. This is easily the most balanced team on both offense and defense.
