The only guy working harder than Marshawn Lynch on this play is Ricardo Lockette. Watch Lockette at the far right side (top of screen) for the duration of the play all the way into the end zone. He ran TWICE as far and TWICE as fast as Marshawn Lynch in this one play not to mention 4 blocks!!
You know, this is the reason the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl that year. Marshawn grabbed his nuts jumping backwards into the endzone and was fined by the NFL. The NFL then decided they couldn't let him win SBMVP, which is exactly what would've happened if Marshawn ran the last TD in. Instead, they opted for the pick play to give the award to Russ. The rest is history.
Oh, and the SB was played in AZ, and the Nest doesn't forget.
Amazing work by Lockette. Also great play design and execution. Seems like a pretty intricate orchestration of blocks and everyone was where they were supposed to be. You can tell the whole team believes Beast Mode could happen on any play, so they ALL block with intensity, especially the receiver that could get Beast Mode to the end zone. Great call, great design, great execution, great effort all supporting Beast Mode!!!!!
its crazy how unified we are about that 2 yard line……ive visited 15 videos on this and the beastquake…top comment is "and they didnt give it to him at 2yrds" lolol
Wow tremendous run, too bad the announcer seemed unimpressed given the lack of emotion in his voice, he was commentating on it as if it were a routine given touchdown run. Goof, hype up the big plays, doesn’t matter if the game result is a foregone conclusion.

Could Al Michaels be a little less excited? Kind of an embarrassing call for an all-time run
Do the announcers understand what they’re seeing?
Some Oh's and Ah from the fan in Phoenix.

Who’s here after Marshawn Lynch explained how fast Lockette was on the “It Needed To Be Said” podcast?
Who is here because of Tyreek Hill’s podcast?

Lynch's feet, balance and change of direction …… theres very very few RB"s that have ever had it like that…. plus the power game…
I live and AZ as a Falcons fan and decided to go to this game cause I usually try to catch one local game. It did not disappoint 💪🏻
Imagine this was in Seattle. The 12th man was the only thing missing
Watch #84, it is hilarious.
Put this man in the HOF!
Funny how no. 84 didn't block a single person just ran atound and next thing he knew marshawn was off to the races no help from him

Nothing I can’t stand more than a crazy play like this and the announcers are calling it calm. UFC has ruined me 😂
I don't think patrick peterson made a tackle his entire cardinals career
The crotch grab for the defense is the best.
Funny how relatively lame the call is for such a great run…come on Al.
Just wants Russ to win mvp that’s why they did that to him
F… your media!!!😂 he doesn’t have to talk to you cancers of the Earth😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he’s great, and none of you are💯💯💪🏿
cant believe pete threw that ball
They must teach this kinda of effort to their wr. This brings to mind d.k. Metcalf saving a touch down
Proverbs 19:23
The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
Al. Michaels not impressed
The first Beast quake was better !! Also Russ was hating on Him for not handing the ball off 🤷🏿♂️

That's terrible announcing. Wake up.
we didn’t deserve to see Marshawn 🤟🏽 get that man in the booth with Al 💀
Al Michaels needed to have retired before this. commentated on one of the greatest runs in years like a deflated balloon
This era was so epic!!

and yet they forgot his pico de gallo
Marshawn was earl Campbell with footwork and agility.
Thanks for axeing.
I like 83 hustling up to block
Why are NFL commentaries so underwhelming…
Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Al Michaels half asleep on the call
This was better than the first one
He’s foot and the tacklers foot touched while the tackler was out of bounce! Isn’t that out?
0:19 I'm SO not giving him the ball in a life or death situation in the Super Bowl!
1:18 it's dem henny that gives him the boost. Skittles just go cover the smell lol
