  1. I played triple A A ball years ago. They used to tell us not to leg kick up the lead foot. They said keep both feet planted and then swing with your hips and bat swing in as even as possible then explode with your shoulders and arms snapping the wrist at contact.
I see the leg kick was actually needed for timing and helping in pivoting of weight to swing ratio.
He has a great natural swing.
Can see he will be breaking many titles

  2. I think the most effective change he made was quieting his front leg with the leg kick. It was a two step process with lift leg and extend foot and he got rid of the kick while keeping his leg stiffer. He now gets the leg up and it hovers in the air longer before putting foot down. He adjusted his hand positions from low to high and back down a bit but extended further in a more ready position he can just start swinging from.

  3. Such a pretty swing…. And he’s in a class by himself. Such a class act! By the way, I hate him and the Yankees… but you have to tip your cap. 👍

  4. You know how a lot of people want to forget about Ken Griffey Jr. Who could be so ignorant to not see the same swing except he could catch balls from low and make them go? Oh s*** that's another three runs.

  5. He will go down as the best hitter who ever lived bc he simply works on his swing instead of blowing his money on cars (well he probably blows his money on cars, let's be honest) but imagine how good your MLB team would be if your favorite players put as much work into their swing as judge.

  6. Not much different. His load is a little bit quieter. Seems to have slowed down that phase a little and I’m sure that’s helped slow down the pitches.
