  1. Ethically speaking, it's as bad a partnership than the one they have with Gatorade. Nivea are owned by Beiersdorf which is a fairly evil company. In the recent past they've been found guilty of animal testing, lying about animal testing, price fixing and have received poor scores from several ethical, environmental and/or safety groups including a middling 58.8% on Newsweek's Green Rankings last 2014. I don't buy their products for those reasons among others. Unless they've cleaned their act up in an amazingly short period of time, this gets my thumbs down.

  2. Something about our American dickhead owners welcoming some dodgy corporation to the "Liverpool family" with the sole purpose of selling a product via the clubs name doesn't quite sit right with me. I know it happens all the time in football but this seems too explicit.
