Goals scoring attacking mid would be nice
Can we get a proven striker on loan maybe? I don't like the idea of signing a striker when we have Origi, Ing's and possibly Sturridge back fit for next season. Beneteke may decide to put in more effort too and become a valid option. Plus I think a RCB (buy) or LCB (loan) and a goal keeper (buy) is more of a priority at the moment.

I think a good striker to sign this January would be Breel Embolo from Basel. Maybe this upcoming summer look to offload a striker or two of hours and then bring in a big name striker like Aubemeyang.
berahino would be a good signing imo, the reason why he dosent want to play and has temper issues is because of the whole mix up between him and west brom. he wanted to leave and they wouldnt let him.
Caceres has played CB, RB & RWB for Juve in recent years, and he plays LB for his national team… He's pacey and despite only being 6'0, his vertical jump is off the charts and thus good in the air… He may not be a priority to sign as he is not the best CB available, but it does bring versatility to a Liverpool team that keeps piling up injuries, since he can fit into any position of the defense, whether in a 4 or 5 man back line.

It's bad enough having a striker that's never fit, but to buy one that has tantrums if he doesn't play when/where he wants to would be no better, balls to him, let Spurs have him!!
I agree with what people are saying about Strikers, we don't really need another £20 million pound striker who would just add to the ones we already have, someone like Aubameyang would immediately become our top striker (even possibly over Sturridge) but signing someone like Berahinho or Pato would just be a waste I think, Wingers are a real priority to me, in the games we have struggled it's been because we have been so narrow that it's easy to defend against and then just hit us on the counter or with width of their own. Man Utd were so successful under Fergusson because they had the great midfielders like Scholes and Keane, but the width of people like Beckham, Cantona, Solskjaer and Ronaldo over the years meant that they had so many options going forward and were not predictable to the opposition. Centre back is clearly a place we need to strengthen, not just because of injuries but I think we lack a leader at the back since Carragher left. Someone like Hummels or Kompany is missing at Liverpool who can be a leader of men and be a rock at the back. You only need one as well because they will make the players around them better. Finally and least important a midfield player who can control games, obviously Xhaka has been mentioned but a player of that calibre would be hard to get in January. But I believe that Centre Back/Winger is the most important.

For once in a very long time this club last season had the money to bring in at least THREE top quality players that would make a massive difference to the squad. Liverpool didn't need to go out and sign Nine OK players this has deeply hurt the club.

Liverpool paid under five million for Gomez and at the time before his injury Moreno was sitting nicely on the bench.The Australian Smith every time he starts a game he's almost MOTM performances .So Liverpool could of saved a lot of money by not signing Moreno just need to give the players you already have a fair chance
